Our room was located on the 8th floor as I requested to have it away from street noise. We were three adults in the same room and got a 2 doble bed room as we wanted. The room was huge and modestly decorated with tipical mexican furniture and a very small flat screen TV. The bellboys were always kind and helpful so the staff in the front desk. The bathroom was big too and had basic toiletries (no hair dryer), and plenty of hot water. The bad thing here was it had such a disgusting smell all the time!!!! It seems the drain was broken or cloged and we had to keep the door closed to avoid the horrible smell went into the room (if you have a weak stomach do not stay in room 809). Our room was cleaned every single day but at the first 3 nights I had to ask to the front desk for the third towel because we always got just two. WiFi service is not a reality in our room. No matter what we asked or did, the signal was so bad that if we wanted to use it we had to open the room door, or like me, went to the corridor and stay there as long I need to be online!!! The worst thing of our stay in this hotel was the air condition: IT DIDN'T WORK AT ALL!!!! Our room had a big balcony, but we never enjoyed the view because if we open the courtains the room will be so hot that we could not be there. It was so dissapointed about this basic feature because outside we were around 40°C!!!!!! Get sleep was such a challenge for me and my family because the room was always hot.

Nice hotel ! The staff are very friendly and profesional .

Friendly staff ! Great location , clean rooms , food was delicios .

Came back with neck pain thanks to the hardness of the pillow please change those for a smother pillows, everything is fine I the hotel just my only complaint is a small and arched bed and a terreible bad pillow.

The WiFI did not work and the beds were not comfortable at all. The elvators get to crowded. Hotel staff did not want to print my boarding pass.

En el hotel. Muy. Bien. Pero el carro que rente nunca me lo dieron y nadie sabia nada. Muy mal

the rooms were small but comfortable . very helpful staff in front desk . very little English spoken . close to the historic district which is what we wanted . very Mexican experience not tourist . I stayed there 20 years ago and it hasn't changed . brush up on your Spanish . it is not a US tourist resort of that's what we wanted. air conditioning in Mexico is iffy .

Good hotel in Guadalajara downtown, close to Catedral, hospicio Cabanas, San Juan de Dios, centro Joyero, teatro Degollado, etc. The rooms are good for the price.

I just spent one night, it was ok. Hotel is a little old, but you get good service at all. Price is little, still the room I stayed was ok.

Comfortable and great location. Very relaxing and friendly staff.

the room was very noisy because of the street traffic. there was not enough hot water.

For the money, overall the hotel room is a bargain! The only minuses I have is that the room they stuck me in, had the tile shower taken out and they put in a used shower tub. It looked like it was 10 years old and the water kept dripping from the wall. Also the AC does not work well, but luckily it was not hot during my stay there. Staff was helpful and the house cleaning was impeccable!

The hotel doesn't have much amenities, there isn't complimentary breakfast, coffee, or wifi. My room was humid, the A/C didn't work properly. Each time that I left my room I would leave the "please don't bother sign" and yet housekeeping tried to get in the room, that was very scary. The bell boys are very respectful and polite. If I were to stay there again, I won't be staying in the economy room that's for sure. The location of the hotel is sweet, there are many well known Mexican restaurants around it, and tourist sites around the corner.

This is a good downtown Hotel, the rooms are big and clean. Furniture needs and upgrade other than that the room was good and everything works. I had requested balcony with a view and I was only able to get one after the manager came out to talk to us.

The hotel is located 2 blocks away from the cathedral, in a very safe area, it can be kind of noisy because it's on a busy street. The staff was very helpfull and friendly, the only thing i didnt like is that there wasn't a blowdrier in the bathrroom and the water wasn't very hot.

service was goos, room was clean, good location, but old hotel, its a 4 stars hotel, but seems like old, tv is old, in general terms its good for one night, no internet service, they charge you if you want, I was unhappy about that

Visiting family

It was good ,but they have a small parking lot and dangerous for your car.People working there are realy friendly and have a good maners .There is one guy called [...] he is really helpful with the guestThanks to all

The hotel is ideally located within walking distance of the beautiful downtown city and close to many restuarants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The business center should not be called that. It consisted of a single computer that you have to take turns on and they charge a fee per hour of usage ($50 pesos per person!) and you have to make a deposit in order to have a remote control for the television in your room ($150 pesos!) but you do get the deposit back if you return the remote control and the receipt during check out. The hotel and rooms are very clean and comfortable and the noise was minimal. Overall, a satisfactory stay at the hotel.

Noise, But that is Mexico. My room had a great view of the Basilica.
