Not at all what you would expect for the price. Rooms are extremely small and are in desperate need of a remodel. Our window looked out to a wall. Don’t be fooled by the pictures. In general the whole place feels claustrophobic. Building is quite old or “historic” as they like to call it. A lot of drug addicts around the area. Lobby is very small. Have to walk quite far with your luggage to check in as you cannot drive up to the lobby. Area is not what it used to be. It doesn’t feel very safe especially when walking with your luggage to and from transportation. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. If you want to visit the downtown area just take a taxi there. Ended up losing my money and stayed somewhere else within an hour of getting here. No partial refund or anything other than a “too bad you booked through a 3rd party”, the front desk is friendly until you call them out on these things. Did I mention the smell of the place? Not very pleasant to say the least.

I did not like the fact that i paid for a city view and ended up getting a window with a view to a curtain !!! When I checked in hotel was booked and no other rooms were available. Very disappointed

To begin, they did NOT have our reservation on arrival. Gave us another room, but not the one we booked. Lobby was not nice & had a sickening aroma. Maid service was very stingy w/towels. There were 3 of us & they consistently left only 2 towels. 1 hand towel & NO facw towels. Restaurant was by reservation only. Bar service was the only GOOD rhing about the hotel.

Love the location

I have stayed here a few times and find it the perfect location as the historic town center has so many things to see and I love walking. Other places were just a short uber drive away, Zapopan, Lake Chapala, Tlaquepaque, Tonala,etc. So many cool things to visit in Centro historico too that you don't need to go to other places if you are only in town a short time. Love being in the center, plenty of places to eat at and it's always so lively.

On arrival night hotel staff was celebrating something on a balcony below our room. It was super noisy and I have to call security to stop it . We did not sleep whole night after that. On our last night again this hotel staff moved furniture at 4 am at same place. We did not sleep half night.
