I didn’t like I reserved a room for 3 people and 2 beds they charge me more when checking in they only allow 2 person in the room

The staff was amazing, the food superb. The rooms were beautiful and clean. Also a great location walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars on Avenida Chapultepec. Fantastic hotel all the way around!

Unbeatable location, great decor, and super friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant served a fairly adequate buffet breakfast with some delicious hot meal options made to order. The sinks in the room have to be changed to something more functional, as the water splatters everywhere. Same with the tub. The room however spacious lacked basic amenities such as a hair dryer, iron, and face towels. But all these may be availed of on request.

Fantastic hotel, not the cheapest but a great value. The room was spacious and clean. Close by to late night taco spots and bars.

When my rewards points add up, this hotel is a great getaway, not that the inlaws aren’t hospitable. LOVE the pool. The workout room was okay; used it. TV had lots of channels. We got a tub room and had a blast. Shower was clean and pretty but not strong. My only complaint is that the polite staff didn’t explain anything. By the workout room there is a shower, a sauna, and a massage table. Quite frankly I would have used all three if I had known whether we were allowed. Instead, I went back to my room to shower. It would also have been better to know whether the pool had towels. Other than feeling clueless about basics, we had a beautiful night and a good breakfast. The staff are kind and speak English where my Spanish is lacking. As for location, we like that Demetria is close to Heidi’s, German restaurant. We felt safe, and the walk was pleasant.

Very nice and clean.. staff are very friendly ... will recommend to anyone

Based on the reviews I thought that this place would be spectacular. It was far from it. I always check the mattress for bed bugs at any hotel- there were no bed bugs but the entire mattress was dirty. There was literally specks of dirt in every divot and fold of the mattress. But there were several layers of bedding between the mattress and where I would be sleeping so I decided to stay. And in fact the bed itself was comfortable, but just having in the back of my mind the dirty mattress did ruin it a bit. The TV in my room didn't work half the time, and my electronic key card to enter the room didn't work almost every time I arrived at my room so I would have to go back down to the reception almost every time I wanted to enter my room. The turn down service is creepy, because I didn't know that they do it, so when I arrived back at my room at 10pm the sheets on bed bed were folded down, the TV remote control (for the TV that didn't work) was sitting in the middle of the bed, and there was a melted bucket of ice on the night stand- as if someone had been hanging-out in my room! Also, instead of having a hair dryer in the room you have to go to the front desk to ask- inconvenient. Finally, the room was not well-lit to begin with, but the light bulb in the lamp on the night stand was also burnt out and I asked the front desk to change it for me and they never did.

Hotel Demetria was fantastic. I was definitely unique as compared to any hotel we'd ever stayed at before but that's what made it special. The over design and aesthetic were incredible and truly memorable. The room was amazing and the staff were all fantastic. The complimentary breakfast was tasty but nothing to write home about. However, the food from the menu in the restaurant was incredible. We ate at some impressive restaurants while in Guadalajara and the food at the hotel certainly rivaled them all. Lastly, the neighborhood was conveniently located a short Uber ride away from all the usual sites and we very close to some top notch dining and bars. The one caveat I would include is that despite the high star rating please don't arrive expecting a Four Seasons or Ritz experience. This hotel is special but it's not your traditional five star affair so go with an open mind and enjoy the experience.

Sophisticated styling paired with the most attentive staff made for one of the best experiences I've had at a hotel in a long time.

Hotel is very Artsy with a loft feel. Mini Bar items are great, but prices are off the charts! Nice location in La Fayette area of Guadalajara! Gourmeish Breakfast included. Overall, it's ritzy, trendy loft style accommodations, if that's your thing.

Our stay was great! The room and hotel was exactly what we expected. The decor was amazing, the staff was friendly and the food was delicious.

More than what I expected. Great room, beautiful bath, very confi. Staff super professional and friendly. I loved the arquitecture and interior design of this hotel. The food is excellent and great location.

Awesome decor, great staff ! A good location and good food in the room service. Near downtown.

Trendy and great staff. Food is great, good hip and safe location.

The hotel is really beautiful. My room had a great window, but it didn't open..so there are quirks to the space (my friend had a room that the window opened, but faced a wall). And there were no irons in the room..which I'd never seen before. But otherwise, a great choice
