Don Quijote hotel is a great place to stay, Close to everything amazing food in the hotel’s restaurant i highly recommend it
the hotel is ok, cute little sitting area inside but its lacking in basic amenities. No hair dryer, not enough towels. its not in a great area. Not safe to be out after dark. We arrived on a friday night and there seemed to be lots of prostitution outside. A gentlemen came in after us to request hourly rate. my guess is this is common and the top floors are used for guests and the 1st floor is where they had the "short term" stay reservations. Overall the hotel is cute mexican style hotel, but would not stay again primarily due to location.
Everybody needs to read these reviews! The hotel patio looks nice and it looks ok from the outside but once you get in to the room it’s not good! The mattress is hard and lumpy. The bedspread was torn and sewn. The bathroom toilet seat was loose and crooked. The bathtub faucets were leaking so bad that it filled the edges and overflowed all over the bathroom floor. Each and every towel had holes in them. On a positive note The cleaning staff was very nice. The location is excellent. There’s a taco stand, a restaurant and a 7/11 right across the street. There is lots of shopping, eateries and bars only steps away. But I will Not be staying at Hotel Don Quijote again but I will stay in the same general area.
The room was dark, the sink light was out. The bathtub was not clean. The whole feeling was dirty and unsafe. On top of that, the rooms locate next to busy streets and they don’t have properly installed windows to minimize the noise. The only thing good about this place is that it’s close to the historic center and many activities around. The hotel also allows luggage to be stored there when you’re out and about.

Location is convenient, but sheets, pillows, and towels have a smell of chlorine and gym sweat. Shower tub look dirty as well. Couple kids were running around in the courtyard screaming their lungs out around 11:30 pm. I won't stay here again.
Near many shops and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. Was able to leave baggage after we checked out. Convenient location near the central plaza.
Paid for 2 beds and was given a room with 1 bed. I had to wait until the next day to receive the correct room.
