I have stayed at his Hotel many times, and the excellent service is outstanding. I am treated as VIP and the benefits are great. If you looking for a safe place close to everything downtown, than this is the place. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner is excellent.

The staff was friendly and ready to assist with any questions/problems. The hotel was under construction so by 8:00 am there was a lot of noise. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The only problem were the doors, to the hotel room and bathroom, they are hollow doors which allowed outside noise to come in. The entries hotel has tile flooring which amplifies the noise.

Stayed twice with friends over a two week period. Nicely restored two connected buildings wtith beautiful lobby, service - with one small mishap- was very accommodating. Do book with breakfast, which is a full buffet, including mimosas and chef to cook eggs to order. Rooftop pool nice for short laps and conseige helpful with what to see in city. My two separate rooms were in both sides of hotel., each overlooking a central atrium. Be aware some rooms are internal with no outside window and AC can blow hard

Great place to stay. Very clean and safe. Perfect location. Excellent service. Hotel restaurant is delicious. Staff is very friendly and helpful

The hotel is very beautiful with a Spanish Colonial revival aesthetic. It was also very clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating. It is centrally located in Historical Guadalajara and a close walk to the Plaza de Armas and other local attractions. The shuttle service offered by the hotel for $250 Pesos (about $14 US) to and from the Guadalajara airport was a huge bonus. The driver also helped with loading and unloading the bags. We were greeted by a bell boy who took our bags to our room. The restaurant was good and affordable offering traditional favorites along with some fusion dishes. I would have given all fours except for a few problems. First off the toilet in our room clogged up upon the first use. The staff fixed it shortly after we reported it to them tho. Secondly the room we were given was across the street from a bar that had live Mariachi music playing all through the night. We had a very hard time sleeping. We told the front desk about the problem and they were able to move us to a quieter room luckily. Not really the hotels fault, but worth noting that it is loud in certain rooms. Overall a great hotel tho.

We come here to fly Home out of Guadalajara. Great staff very comfortable rooms. With walking distance to many things

Spent time in the restaurant. Visited the nearby markets. Took part in the anniversary celebration for the city.

The Morales is a beautiful old hotel that has been recently upgraded rooms, we were the first ones actually to use our room which was splendid. Felt like royalty staying there.

Hotel Morales is a very nice place. It is centric, love the colonial architecture. This is probably our 4 time staying here. I recommended to all my friends and family who travel to guadalajara.

This hotel was beautiful. I felt like we were staying inside an hacienda. I really loved every detail of the hotel. Our room did have a certain musk that I couldn’t point what it was. I would have loved our restroom to be cleaner. Overall the bed was comfy, the room Temperature great and the hotel was beautiful and centrally located. We were able to walk to the historic sights.

I keep coming back to this hotel! The rooms have wonderfully high ceilings and are spacious. There is a fairly large rooftop heated pool and a gym. Excellent help always from the concierge who helped me with my ETN bus reservations! The breakfast buffet is very good.

So clean. Big tv , bid room. All quality. Food was 1st class. And location is great and many great restuants across the street. All staff were very helpful.

We had a negative experience during our stay at Morales. We were traveling with our two kids and had reserved transportation to the hotel directly through Morales. When we arrived, we did not see anyone from Morales at the arrivals area where they would be. I looked around the arrivals and departures area three times; no luck. We waited 15 minutes and decided to call the hotel as our kiddos were hungry and growing impatient. I was placed on hold for 10 minutes then was told they would call me back in 5 minutes. Another 10 minutes passed and, surprise, no call back. I had to call again. Apparently, someone was on their way to pick us up. An hour after arriving, a man walks up with a piece of paper (actually the reverse of an oxxo receipt) that had "Morales" written in pen. The driver said he was called by the hotel as a last minute emergency! Afterwards, Morales stalled for 3 DAYS (front staff said they could not reach a supervisor). They finally offered a discount back to the airport (and give them more business? No thank you). Morales refused to take responsibility for the mistake, saying they contract transportation. Why does Morales's webpage show a nice, modern van with their logo all over it? Essentially we paid $280MXP to wait an hour and be picked up in a 1998 Volkswagen Polo. Management DID NOT apologize or contact us otherwise while we stayed there (4 days). They wait for people to leave, then apologize online for all to see.

Can be noisy at times. Older part of the town . Friendly staff

I had a ball and I looked forward to hotel morales for a good nights sleep- I like the high ceilings

Terrific hotel staff and lovely colonial design. Breakfast buffet is terrific. The Cafe de Olla is a MUST. Perfect for families, couples, and business travelers.

excellent choice. Hotel was walking distance to many restaurants and coffee shops, right in the heart of downtown. beautiful historic hotel. would definitely recommend and will definitely be staying again when I visit Guadalajara in the future.

Beautiful place, colonial style, centrally located. Good breakfast, kids enjoyed the swimming pool and the pool table. Wifi. They have a shuttle that can take you back to the airport for a reasonable price. We also took the shuttle to Tonalá which was very nice. Downtown area has a lot of Street construction at the moment.

Nice hotel, but don't depend to much on room service if you're hungry!

Hotel is an older hotel located in Centro Historico Guadalajara. Great location and easy access to taxi's or Uber. Room was spacious and clean. Only minor complaint is housekeeping didn't restock the room consistent. Other than that, hotel was great. Food at restaurant was also delicious.
