As a frequent traveler this property is a low budget hotel. Bare essentials in the guest rooms,Smoke Detector was missing in the guest room (wires exposed where the detector was placed. Room needs to be painted, Sliding Glass Door to the outside was loose so all the Cool AC Air was escaping. On the 6th floor major stains in the carpet and when you exited the elevator the carpet was ripped up and someone could trip leaving.

The only good thing was the location, other than that nothing Nomparking, tiny rooms and bathroom, uncomfortable beds. Will not be staying here again.

Carpet had a strong nasty smell. Restroom towels smell bad and room was not very clean. Plus dishes were not very clean in the breakfast area. Elevator issues first 2 days had to use stairs. Sorry but would not recommend hotel to friends and family.

It was great! The hotel is clean and very friendly staff. The location is outstanding for the price. The only inconvenience is the construction all over the historic center at the moment you can’t get directly to the hotel and a taxi or side share drops you off two blocks away.

The website submitted, by this hotel, to Orbitz indicated there were in-room safes. Upon arriving, I was told that the "in-room" safes were in the lobby, six floors from my room. That's bad business. Orbitz was made aware of this situation. I checked out the very next day and stayed at the NH hotel. The NH staff and room amenities were fabulous.

The hotel is clean, and staff is very attentive in making sure all is ok. It is walking distance to the downtown area and shops. The only downfall is that the main street to get to the hotel is closed down as there is construction so it was a little hard to figure out how to get there. Once we knew where the parking garage was located we got the hang of it. So basically you can't drive up to it and take down luggage, you'd have to park and walk about a block to it. Other than that all was great!

Centrally located. Included breakfast. Good value for the money.

I chose the hotel based on location and ratings. Upon arrival, I realized something was different. Hotel is right next to the construction of the new metro line, literally next to it. There is no access from the street, you have to walk around the construction zone to get to it, at night this is not the safest zone though I had no issues coming back late on a couple of nights. There is a security guard and you need you e-key to get into the hotel. Hotel and room are very simple but comfortable. Breakfast is OK, The best thing was the view at night, the hotel is right next to the beautiful Cathedral!.

the people working here are very friendly, and everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable

Don't stay here! It's way overpriced for the type of room!

For all of those haters, the construction that is in front of the hotel is a new subway that city of Guadalajara is building, and the hotel is not responsable for that, don't be stupid. Great hotel, great location, nice staff and delicious breakfast.

Very hard to locate the tiny entrance . construction everywhere . Very basic everything , but superb views of cathedral right next to the hotel . VERY DANGEROUS . Thieves 2 garbed my gold chain 10 ft from hotel entrance !! Rough area until rail and work is finished . NH next door is a much better deal .

24/7 about 20 meters from my window was a permanent machine making noise all day long.

Major construction being done by the plaza area...sleeping might be a problem since work is scheduled close to around-the-clock. .....but location location location is the plus side...

Had a helpful staff, but there was much construction outside. I should have checked to see the listing, because I don't recall seeing it on the Orbitz description. Also, the elevator situation was unusual, requiring us to use our room cards to move from one level to another, as well as wait for elevators because capacity is small. The staff were friendly. I will return in the future.

Ya me he hospedado con Uds anteriormente en Guadalajara y Puerto Vallarta, pero esta vez me dieron una habitacion en el 6 piso con vista a unas deprimentes azoteas
