My wife and I came for a couple days to Greenvile SC around the end of July 2017 on a training educational assignment and stayed at the Greenville Marriott. We took the executive floor which is just around $10 more than the standard room and we had full access to the food and drinks at the lounge including a decent breakfast and snacks (morning and evening) and chilled soft drinks at no cost. Great view of the city from the room and lounge. The hotel has a complimentary bus shuttle to take you to the vibrant and cultural downtown with tons of restaurants and nightlife, and have you picked up by around 10:30pm to bring you back to the hotel which worked great for us. The indoor pool was little small but quite cozy and also had a separate whirlpool with handicap access, as needed. We loved our stay and the convenience. On January 9th I booked an employee rate for this hotel for the upcoming solar eclipse checking in August 18th. On August 2nd I got an email at 3:13pm saying that because my credit card was declined they were going to cancel my reservation. 1 minute later I got an email saying it was cancelled. My credit card had been stolen and when I got my new number I simply forgot to update my information. I contacted the hotel and they said I would have to rebook the room and they could not just update my reservation. I spent an hour on the phone with Marriott customer care who tried helping me and was unsuccessful, every hotel in the area was sold out. Customer care called the hotel and they refused to help but told him that they were canceling all employee reservations because they had oversold. They told him they were honoring the employee rate at a Fairfield in North Carolina. We tried getting this and we could't even find that rate. I work in hotels and I understand over selling and the fact the hotel was in a tight spot but there are much better ways to go about this. They offered me no assistance and lied about the true reason. I ended up booking a hotel 2 hours away. I never got so much as an apology. Don't tell me to rebook when you have oversold yourself by a large amount and are not expecting cancellations because that is impossible.

I went down to the bar to eat and Christi was the bartender and she was so great! She answered every question I had and made some great suggestions. All together she made my dinner a great experience! !

Visiting Greenville for the first time and what a wonderful introduction to the city. The greeting was so exceptional that you have to experience it yourself. We were recommended here by BMW representative Michael Petrucelli and we can not thank him enough. Rooms great, bar even better, breakfast to die for, location , whew! Just go to Greenville to stay here.

This hotel is located in the heart of Greenville and is very convenient to touring the city. Amenities are good and the service is outstanding. Management goes the extra mile to accommodate it's guests. Looking forward to my next visit to this hotel.

Very nice hotel in a great location! Our stay was more than satisfactory and we plan to go back in the Fall. We were able to walk to some great restaurants and coffee shops. Downtown Greenville is charming.

This hotel is pleasantly modern once you walk inside. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly. The bar/restaurant downstairs is inviting and very nice as well. The workout room is well maintained and there is a nice outdoor pool as well. The room was clean and large. Breakfast wasn't the best I've had but definitely sufficient if it is included. I probably wouldn't pay extra for it though. They had transportation to the performance center and will give extra marriot points if you elect to decline housekeeping.

This Marriott is located just off I-85, near several restaurants and the Greenville-Spartanburg Airport. Check in was quick and the clerk was nice. I was given my room key and instructions for connecting to the internet. My room was clean and the bed was about as comfortable as you can be away from home. The hotel as a whole was very nice. I would stay here again.

This Marriott hotel is located right next to the Michelin Tires - U.S. Corporate Headquarters, off I-95. I saw many employees & visitors just walk from the hotel to/from that building. It's location is excellent, in the outskirts of Greenville. While taking "ultimate" driver training in the BMW Performance Driver Center at the nearby BMW SAV X-5, X-3, X-6, etc. manufacturing plant, I stayed three days with my wife at the hotel. We greatly enjoyed the stay. The pool was excellent. And so was dinner & service at the Artisan restaurant. The Staff puts together an exceptional breakfast buffet. I commented: Christopher Columbus "discovered" America, and we discovered Greenville. This medium-size city is a Jewel in Disguise. We are now retired. The city was like a magnet to us, due to all the high quality venues, unique pedestrian-friendly downtown, and a place where nature and quality of life coexist well. We heard that only top restaurants survive due to fierce cut-throat competition in attracting locals & visitors. The city is kept so clean; to an unbelievable standard. I saw only two pieces of debris in three days. The city also cleans the streets about twice a year with vapor / water pressure gear. Another attractive factor is the closeness to the mountains, parks, and lakes of upstate South Carolina & western North Carolina. We pledged to come back...

Greenville is a great city and the Marriott was the perfect stay ~ friendly ~ clean ~ great Valet service ~ amazing housekeeping ladies ❤️ We were 4 girls in for a wedding ~ and we love our coffee in the mornings while we chat (rake everyone over the coals) and get ready for our day ~ so when we tried to call for room service and order ourselves s big ole pot of coffee ☕️ they informed us they did not have room service but we could get coffee in lobby. Well we threw on our bedroom shoes and went to the lobby only to realize we had to purchase the coffee ~ it was all good ~ our one liner became our tip is you need room service and/or complimentary coffee 😊 I would definitely stay there again ~ walking distance to all the fun happening places in Greenville 💚
