Spoke with the manager at check-out about issues of water not draining from the tub in two different rooms and issues with the thermostat not working - the room remained cold. The manager made changes to the bill.
It was very convenient from the Interstate, and had a very nice breakfast with friendly and helpful attendants. Cracker Barrel was nearby for dinner, shopping was close by, and it was just the best place for us to stay. Very quiet except for the occasional loud truck.

Upon arrival, the hotel was under complete renovations, and very dark, that had not been shared with us. The pool (in July) was not available due to the construction. Our room door was open when we got to it, when front desk was notified, we were told that housekeeping probably left it open for inspection. Very uneasy feeling for me and my daughter, traveling alone! After unpacking and changing, the bath mat was discovered to be completely wet, as if folded straight from the washer. Again, front desk was notified, who THEN offered to change our room. We opted to use a bath towel, as we had already unpacked and mostly settled in. THE worse experience at a Hampton, ever. The construction should have been mentioned in advance of booking. We could have made a more informed decision at that time. Staff was grumpy if not impolite and had to be summoned upon arrival and checkout!! BEWARE for at least a year....July 2018. and ask if construction is still in process.
Checked into hotel and the receptionist was less then friendly. Got to my room the bathroom looked like someone peed on the walls four feet up. Tile was coming off the walls. Had a king size bed with twin size pillows that were less then usable. I spent one night in this hotel and it was to much. I spend 300 nights a year in hotel rooms and I would sleep in my vehicle before staying in this hotel again.
