We had no idea that the property was under constructionThe property reviews rated it 8/10 and the pics showed a beautiful hotel with indoor pool. THERE WAS A FORKLIFT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LOBBY! That cannot possibly be safe. The room was filthy. Walls, furniture and linens dirty and dust everywhere. Indoor pool -closed. Gym-closed. The breakfast was decent and staff was ok. DO NOT BOOK HERE!
The Embassy Suites in Newark, New Jersey. The room was comfortable and satisfactory, however, I was disappointed with the restaurant experience. The chef appeared preoccupied with their phone throughout my visit, which was unprofessional and distracting. Additionally, the table was dirty, despite ongoing construction in the area. I believe that even in such circumstances, basic cleanliness standards should be maintained, especially when serving food to guests.

Embassy suites Newark airport is the WORST embassy suites I’ve ever booked ! My booking was paid and confirmed thru orbitz. I called at 9:45 pm and said that we will have a late checkin bec we’re coming all the way from florida and the front desk said no issue with late checkin when we checked in the front desk said they fully booked !!! They must have given our room to another walk-in customer who paid more so the mgr in charge at that time sold our rm to another customer !!! This is so unacceptable !! People should NEVER book with embassy suites Newark airport ! They are the worst and the front desk mgrs are very rude ! They don’t deserve that job to face customers !
Staff were friendly and helpful. Close inconvenient to airport. Pool and Jacuzzi were closed for maintenance. Nearby Restaurants were closed permanently. Bathroom ceiling and shower was deteriorating.
Long wait for airport shuttle, long lines at check in. A number of little things don’t work right. Not worth chasing it all for one night
The checkin was easy. The staff has been wonderful. However wish the pool was working.
Not the best place to stay, police activity outside. Lots of partying. Nothing nearby.
