Overall everything was good our Hot water was an issue but we made one call and it was fixed. The lady who checked us in was quick. The front desk gentleman last night was very nice. The manager when it was time to check out was nice as well. I really don't have much to say but it was a short sweet stay. I will be returning.

All the negative was based upon a young lady at the desk not the one that checks me in. I have been going there for a couple of times now, and I did not pay for parking but this time the one who was not helping me was telling me I have to pay for parking. I was assume she was the manager.

The AC in the room wasn't working properly and I had a very very uncomfortable nights sleep before I was to fly long haul and straight to work. I spent the night in a cycle of resetting the controls, trying to sleep expecting it to work (as one should), only for it to stop again. When I reported this to the night staff i was berated for not reporting it early (I'm sorry i had not expected it to be stop starting and my priority was rest. So his poor attitude letting me know all his challenges (e.g. work) outweighed the customer experience I should expect and paid for would have been funny if I was not so exhausted. The used towels were refolded, the bathroom shower was not cleaned, the bed sheets were not replaced after a dining spill, and complimentary water was not restocked. On the first day i left the hotel late so missed a 'room clean/tidy' but I would have expected housekeeping from a hotel in the Marriott range, to try and clean when i was out. All in all very underwhelming and utterly disappointing overall. I should have stayed in Manhattan.

The property was pretty standard and unremarkable. Basic hotel in an area convenient to MetLife Stadium. There was a shuttle service offered to the stadium for $20 pp each way which was handy although it took about an hour and a half to get back to the hotel (2.5 miles away) after the event. Maybe not the hotel's fault due to traffic but there were not enough shuttles and they were overcrowded.

Bad plumbing

Upon arrival, we noticed stained comforted but more importantly a toilet with non flushed toilet paper. When we attempted to flush we noticed the toilet didn’t flush. It would Not flush. We called the front desk and asked to move rooms but were told that the hotel was full and it was not possible. However, they said a maintenance person would come which took a considerable amount of time. He came and said the toilet was fixed and we left to go to a concert. When we returned that night we soon discovered the toilet was not fixed in fact and the maintenance crew was gone for The night. At that point we were offered to move rooms but we had our stuff everywhere and it was midnight and time for bed. I guess some rooms magically opened up. They sent a plunger and a plastic bag and gloves up which we discovered when we checked out in the morning we don’t feel we should have had to pay at all for This room. Honorable mention, the sink did not drain.

I have been in many affordable hotels. This hotel by fair has been the best one! You can tell how well every staff takes care of every room and guest. Anywhere I go for now on, I will be looking to staying at any Renaissance hotel. Just by this experience alone. Absolutely recieved more than what I paid for! 👍👍

Comfortable stay

Stayed for a concert at MetLife. Convenient location although getting out of MetLife is absolutely terrible. The restaurant was very good for breakfast. Staff were attentive even though it was so busy. Shower could have been cleaner/bathroom could use some upgrades. But overall a comfortable stay.
