The heating unit in the room was noisy and vibrated too much. We could not sleep. This was unit 511. Overall, the hotel was nice and clean; breakfast average, staff were nice.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Meadowlands. The hotel was impressively clean, my room was spotless and well-kept. However, the water never got hot; it remained lukewarm, which was disappointing in winter. I also had repeated issues with key cards, needing to get them reprogrammed often. On the bright side, I loved the 24/7 bean-to-cup coffee in the lobby—it was a great amenity. And the breakfast wasn’t half bad either!

The breakfast was great. Our room toilet got clogged each night and overflowed one night. I was offered another room but my son was not feeling well and he was sleeping peacefully as it was about 10:00 that evening. So I decided to stay on that room. It would have been nice to have been given a free night or money back for the terrible inconvenience.

Room was super dusty. Lampshade was gross. Shower curtain didn’t fit shower. Jelly and syrup bottles in breakfast area had hair on them - individual closed mini containers would have been way more sanitary. Pool was ok but could have been 2 degrees warmer for the winter.

Very convenient location if you are visiting American Dream. The restaurant nextdoor has the most incredible atmosphere and you can walk right over! The pool was just big enough for some play time for the kids to ge followed up with an ice cream bar from the lobby store! Great options at breakfast and the dining area was very chic. Will definitely stay again!

January 1 , I got food poisoning an was forced to Shorten my trip , I informed the night clerk on the phone an confirm I had to cancel my upcoming Extra Stay on the January 2 - 3rd for Extra Day , he said he would take care of it . Service at hotel wasn’t great - not particularly helpful (one of the worst of recent Holiday Inn stays). Hotel pool was not very clean. No shuttle service to stadium (unless you want to pay for a third party service). Gym is old and tired. Breakfast was very average (only plain yogurt, no fruit etc.). Mexican restaurant next door is great and worth a trip
