We were awake by a knock on the door at 8AM in the morning . I told the worker i am not checking out until 12noon. Then i put the Do Not Disturb sign on my door knob .At 9:30AM i left my room to go downstairs to pick up my breakfast from the Bistro Restaurant. The cleaning staff open the door and went in the room while my daughter was standing behind the door looking in the mirror. My daughter screamed when the door hit her .I reported the incident to the front desk and they were very supportive

Very nice and clean. Only one person at the front desk working. It was a long to check in but great customer service.

Very nice hotel for a modest price and with easy access public transportation to New York City

The approx. to Medevil Times was great (a short walk through two parking lots). The fitness center was small but adequate. My sons and I loved the pool. The room however had a really bad musty/moldy smell. When we went to make a call to the front desk we noticed that the phone wire had been cut. The staff was kind, but we were just there one night and didn't complain. Still, if that's the general quality of the rooms, I doubt I'll be bringing my family there again!

Great stay clean room amazing view easy check in and out

Came in town earlier than expected , hotel let me check in early. That was nice of them. Pretty close to NYC , the ferry was under 20 min form the hotel. Staff was great , pointed me to some good pizza not to far from them. All around good service and pretty convenient location.

The hotel receptionist would continuously leave me a black male and take care of white customers and then comeback to me. This kind of action is subtle bias meaning that the receptionist does not realize that he's doing it, but this type of treatment is unacceptable.

This was my fourth time here! I love the ease of travel to and from the hotel, easy commute to nyc by bus, the quiet area it is in, and that there are a couple super cute places around the corner for breakfast or lunch in case you don’t want to spend the extra money in the bistro. I also love that our room had a beautiful view of the city! The 24 hour market is a plus, bedding was comfortable, hotel is pretty clean! Front desk service was phenomenal!

Fast check in and check out. Great condition after the remodel, looks fantastic.

Nice place! Clean! Pay for breakfast only! A :) Nice location

The hotel itself was in a great location for Medieval Times. Right next door. The room that we had was on the second floor so it was right next to the skybridge and the convenient hotel parking. The room was very clean however the heater/ AC unit didn't really work. The room was stuffy and hot all night even though we had the thermostat turned all the way down to 60 degrees!! Breakfast at this hotel was a rip off and a joke. The bistro had a few different options for breakfast but they charged an exorbitant amount for what we received. The whole process was confusing for the staff as I first received the wrong order and then had to wait for my correct order to be made. I honestly felt bad for the breakfast staff as they were inundated with orders as more and more people came down for breakfast. It would just seem easier if the hotel had a breakfast buffet for people to enjoy instead of placing individual orders that can easily get confused. The staff was all very friendly but I would probably not stay at this hotel again and I definitely expected much better from Marriott. I was just plain disappointed.

Had a very pleasant stay. Special thanks to Chanel (Shanel??) at the front desk. She was very attentive to a problem I had with the first room I stayed in.

everything was good, the only inconvenience is the parking. Dragging my stuff from the parking lot to the hotel.

We planned a trip to Midieval Times and wanted to stay overnight for convenience. It was easier to walk to the venue than it would have been to drive and park. The venue is within 100 feet of the hotel. It is also very close to the Meadowlands also, so next time we are at a show we know where to stay! The front desk staff was warm and welcoming and made us feel very comfortable being there. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. Water pressure in the shower was amazing! The shampoo and conditioner was a nice touch. Would defiantly recommend the Courtyard and we are already planning our next trip.

Free Parking, easy to access, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel (4.50 fare each way) that takes you right to Port Authority Bus Terminal. The staff was great at explaining the bus system and handed out the schedule as well. Clean, felt very safe, there is no free breakfast but the Bistro was fairly priced. We will definitely be booking again!
