Great stay!

We had an unbelievable time! One simple request for the future is having the basics in the house. salt pepper garlic powder. A coffee filters. And maybe 1 day packet of coffee. That’s so easy to do and would mean a lot. Other than that it was amazing!

My fav house so far!

We had a big family vacay & this house was my fav so far! This is our 8th year to come & we’ve had some doozies! The pool was the biggest we’ve had, the walk to the beach was short & sweet, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed & the layout was perfect for our blended family. There was always hot water for showers which is a big plus. The second floor did get a little warmer than the rest of the house but not a deal breaker by any means. We would definitely stay here again!

Celebrated parents 50th Wedding Anniversary July 1-8 2023

Celebrated parents wedding anniversary. This house was perfect for our group of 18. Beautiful home, plenty of parking, loved golf cart and bikes, couldn’t have been closer to beach(crosswalk then short boardwalk to beach), pool bigger than most of neighborhood homes and was warm but cooled off with a short rain, nice sidewalks and area for morning runs/walks, ice maker by sink huge plus, plenty of refrigerators/freezers, very spacious, comfy beds, some outdated kitchen items, beach service awesome, tv’s very nice and big, nice having 3 refrigerators/freezers, carpet had some stains, very easy booking and check out. Dryer needed a latch fixed and repair tech came out and fixed it within 3 minutes! Would definitely come back and recommend this special home!

Cockroach infestation

Checkin was at 4. I looked good at first. There were some bleach splotches on the carpet. We went out to eat and then the next day we noticed the first cockroach! Then began the lengthy ordeal of trying to get help with dealing with it…. No response from the local office to get 2 sets of sheets and blankets and they would text to only say that the local office would be notified and help but they never did. We, instead of enjoying vacation time together, had to work at providing more evidence of an infestation. We did! Then I spent 5 hours on the phone sorting it all out. I also looked to see if the advertising platform would advertise the house we just fled and they allowed the house to still be advertised the next day!!! Instead of taking it off until the roach problem was dealt with. Horrible that they are ok with letting more people deal with that! Disappointed in the management of the house and the advertising platform for allowing it.

Great house with an even better location!

We had a group of 23 people and this house fit our needs perfectly! The pool was fun for the kids, the house was spacious and very well supplied, the location was amazing with a boardwalk right in across the street with beach access, and the golf cart was a fun touch! Highly recommended.

The BEST thing was it’s proximity to the beach. Very spacious to accommodate our large family especially in the kitchen/common area. The ice machine was a plus as well. Refrigerator took time to cool but they explained rationale for this. Pool area was also excellent. Would definitely rent again!!!

fall break family getaway

This was our third time to stay at Tranquility House, and each time we love it more. The golf cart and bikes were a nice surprise. The house is perfect for large families. Our grandchildren loved the heated pool. We were close to so many activities and places to eat It really is the perfect place to stay when in Destin. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

Great for Our Family

23 members of our family, including toddlers, pre-teens, teenagers, and adults, all enjoyed staying here. The location near the beach was convenient. Having our own personal pool was fantastic, and the kids spent hours and hours swimming there. The kitchen was spacious with plenty of seating for all of us. It was well stocked with pans, utensils , glasses, and everything we needed.
