BASIC ROOM, OLDER HOTEL, DECENTLY KEPT. BED COMFORTABLE. HAD A HANDICAP ROOM, SHOWER VERY ACCOMMODATING. ROOM DONE IN DARK COLORS, MADE ROOM VERY DARK, CARPETING TORN IN PLACES, HARD TO LOCATE THE HOTEL. FRIENDLY STAFF' BREAKFAST - NOT TOO MUCH TO SPEAK OF....

Upon the arrival on the first day of my stay, I selected my first room. Well,...then, my 'super' different experience started... Although the entire environment in my first room was clean, I found that a bug was dead on the ground in the kitchen area. One light bulb in my first room was out of work, and the front desk replaced it. The toilet facility was dirty, and dirt came out from the toilet-pipe. It was super disgusting! Moreover, the shower-pipe was leaking terribly so the hot shower water made a small flood on the ground in the bathroom area. The breakfast was 'super' simple including hot water, hot tea, hot coffee, and energy bars. However, the front desk was very nice and patient. The service of the front desk was very great. They allowed me and help me to move to my second room which was better a bit than my first one. However, another bug in my second room was found dead on the ground near the bathtub. Overall, this is a pet-friendly hostel in a quiet forest-area, and visitors may stay close to animals during the stay. If any visitor wants a 'very' different hostel-experience as well as if the visitor wants to make themselves a surprise during their short-stay, then this hostel is going to be the best choice. Moreover, there is a mini kitchen in each suite so the visitors are able to prepare their own meals. Anyway, for every visitors, please keep the entire environment of each hostel where you stayed during the trip tidy and clean for the next visitors. THX.

The experience was not that bad but that room no I will never stay in that hotel again. Scary at night a lot going on.

There was a lot of issues with pest control. Space under front door had no protection so pests were free to roam in from the out side.

The room smelled of smoke so they changed the room for us. The following room had roaches climbing the walls. The refrigerator was very nasty and rusty. Needless to say the following day we were out there. We would have left that night but the front office was closed.

100 deposit that's crazy. It's not worth that. 2/3 the value of the room

The staff has been exceptional and made me feel very safe.. The rooms were very clean.Overall rating has been a 10 and I would recommend this hotel over many others..I felt right at home.. Professional and very friendly.

Great bed, but no elevator & you have to ask for dishes, even a glass for the bathroom. Generally good value, convenient, 10 minutes to downtown Columbia.

When I first tried to check in, they couldn't locate my reservation. After much waiting I was finally allowed a room. The next day much hassle resumed until the hotel manager said it was finally handled. The next morning when I went to check out I was informed I had to pay for the previous night. I tried calling Orbitz and talking to the manager to no success. They called the cops on me and forced me to pay for my room a second time. I have never been treated so horribly in all my life.

For the money that we spent, it is very worthy. The room is very clean. It is very close to the highway and very convenient to get USC.

This was the worst hotel I have stayed at. I know I was a guest. I was sharing this hotel with ROACHES. The room needed to be cleaned. I was not satisfied. I booked for 2 rooms 2 beds. I traveled for 7 hours to arrived to 2 rooms and 1 room had 1 bed. I was going to sleep on the floor UNTIL I was sharing the room. Not happy.

The condition of this hotel is poor. It is in need of a major overhaul. I was scheduled to stay for 5 nights. After a sleepless night (due to the condition of the hotel room), I decided to checkout at first light. At the time that I was gathering my items, before leaving my room, I realized I had stepped on roaches during my walk to and from the bathroom. I was so glad I had been wearing flip flops during my short stay.

Great staff great room great WiFi close to the interstate

Honestly overall I can relax.... much needed for my chemo.....

3rd stay. First one was bad smelling room. The last couple times was a great stay, just right off highway so it is a little loud at night. But for the money you can't go wrong

Only staid for one night, the room was as we expected it to be

Was great being close to the zoo. There is not restaurants near so I hope you love waffle house. The room was not every clean but the towels where .

room missing coffee pot and utensils, but other than that it is very good. Very close to waffle house and zoo.

It was great stay. Very convenient. Location. Nice staff good breakfast. Id recommend to anyone. Great location surrounding everything

I apologize for the inconvenience you encountered while being here. Sometimes it is difficult to prevent insects from coming into the rooms when the door to the outside is open. As a valued customer your remark has been taken seriously, and we have discussed the same with our pest control team. We would like to regain your trust and hope you will give us that chance in the future. Sincerely, Hotel Management
