Dan,the receptionist was so nice. He upgraded my room from king bed to queen beds with city view without extra charge. Room looks new and very comfort .Breakfast is good.Staff was very friendly.location is very good

Good Hotel, short walks to train stations and downtown. Also, relatively large rooms if staying with kids.

The hotel is in a nice part of the downtown with a lot of restaurants at walk distance. Instalations are modern and well conserved. In general the cleaness was fine although they forgot to clean my room two days in a row, so I had to call guest office. In addition there were some forgoten objects under the beds. The breakfast was average, nothing spectacular, after three days it is very difficult to continue eating the same. In spite of that, I will stay there again.

My family of 5 stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute! Great view out our huge window, comfy beds, roomy bathroom, pull out sofa and great breakfast. The location was perfect for walking.

$50 for overnight self parking at a 3 block away parking lot and $62 for valet. I should have gotten Uber instead of renting a car at the airport. The room i got had frosted windows., fist time I see this on a hotel.

I had a great stay at this hotel. I will stay here again.

Our family of four stayed at the Hyatt Place River North for two nights over President's day weekend. We chose Hyatt Place for the location and, having two teenaged sons, the room set up and more extensive breakfast. The location was great, but no where on their website did they mention the large fire station that was across the street. We became worried when we saw the ear plugs and noise machine. We survived a less of than restful night and went down to the "skillet breakfast". What we got: watery eggs, partially cooked sausage, and many empty serving dishes 30 minutes into breakfast. The "pastries" were stale slices of raisin bread, no breakfast sandwiches or waffles. The next day was worse: cut fruit, apple juice, peanut butter and butter were all gone and the kitchen had no more when asked. When I stopped at the desk to ask about the lack of food and the difference between what was advertised on their website and what was offered, I was told that I must have seen it on a different website as their was recently updated and accurate. They did apologize and gave us a few points in our Hyatt Gold account, but then I found out that program is changing at the end of the month as well. Truly disappointed in both the hotel and management.

awesome and beautiful, I will come back the hotel was great about checking in and the parking staff was great.

Lots of electric outlets. Great view of the city. Maggiano's restaurant right across the street. Great location.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Place Chicago/River North. We had four adults (2 of which are grown 20+ year old "kids") into a room without issue. Booked with lead time at a great rate and the free breakfast is quite good and a super added value. I will stay here again and highly recommend this hotel. The location is great. We used Lyft (or choose Uber) to get to places we could not walk to leaving the rental car at a family member's to avoid the high cost to park a car...the one watch-out!

Stayed when seeing the Magnificent mile parade with my family. So close to the Mag Mile. Kids loved it. Spacious room. Checked in very easy and staff was very courteous. Will go back again..

Our stay was pleasant. We slept and ate well. The staff was available anytime and answered questions completely.

Amazing. Great location and wonderful hotel. It's within walking distance to almost all the big tourist attractions and in a very safe neighborhood.

Comfortable modern room. Hotel was quiet and I was able to get my rest before an early day for work. No complaints.

very busy lobby very friendly bar nice rooms good location

Very nice hotel. Breakfast was good but crowded and slow.

We had to stay at another hotel nearby. We would have appreciated a heads up text or something beforehand. Breakfast tickets had to be requested; they weren't given to us even though it was complimentary.

Overall excellent hotel for the price but more importantly it's location!

Very nice experience. Clean, convenient, good location! Would definitely recommend to others.

Great hotel. Location was near a good mall, excellent resturants, and navy pier. Parking was aweful, $62 for valet and $49 to park two blocks away. We found parking in the area for $39 for $24 but no in or out. Instead we used über which. Additionally, food was not as displayed in the picture: fit and active yogurt cups, pre made packages breakfast sandwiches, and bottles drinks. I'm used to the freshly COOKED Hyatt breakfast..
