My stay was decent, but I could hear whatever was happening in the room next door and in the hall outside my door. Thankfully, people were pretty quiet after midnight. But, I did not appreciate them playing music at 8 AM on a Saturday. The housekeeping staff did a good job cleaning up the room when I was out. Also, the staff at the front desk were friendly and accommodating. The water temperature in the bathroom was a little difficult to manage. It was either a little too cold or too hot in the shower. The water at the sink was only freezing for the first couple of days, but afterwards it got better and warmed up. The location of the hotel was very convenient for me. I was able to walk to almost everywhere I wanted to explore except for Chinatown.

Overall was average but below standards of a Hyatt Place. Breakfast setup - not well thought out. Should have had two lines during holidays for the food. Had incredible long lines and wasn’t worth the wait with the crowd.

Friendly and helpful staff at Front Desk. Nice room with city views. Awesome location, walkable to public transit, area restaurants and Michigan Avenue. The complimentary breakfast was nice and a great start to the day!

Overall, I would probably stay here again. I found the hotel a little expensive for what it is. But it’s a convenient location with lots of great dining options close by, and I was able to walk around at night and it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be. The casino is a few blocks away, there’s lots of restaurants, and touristy points of interest close by. Fortunately, we had some cleanliness issues with the room, that took several requests to be addressed. In the end, the hotel management addressed the problems to my satisfaction. I would say, however, that the pictures online or not very accurate. The carpet in the room had a lot of stains, the furniture and light fixtures were banged up, the L-shaped sofa had stains. For 1000 bucks Canadian on a three nights stay, I wasn’t wow-ed.

Breakfast was fantastic, and the iced coffee was a highlight! Staff were wonderfully kind and helpful, and the location was perfect. The only slight downside was the slow/out-of-service elevators at times, but it didn’t take away from an overall great stay. We’d definitely return!

The staff here are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Location is great, close to transit and walking distance to a lot of shopping and great restaurants. Free breakfast is a nice bonus. Room is spacious and clean. Bed is too hard for me, and pillows are too soft but I know these are personal preference.
