Nice place, deceptive pricing

PROS: clean and beautiful hotel. CONS: the smallest hotel room I have ever been in. No complementary breakfast. BIG ONE: Full costs were not disclosed; room advertised at $224...ended up being $326. Gouged with a $30 resort fee and $72 to park.

It’s a solid choice especially if you’re here for an event at Soldier Field. It’s very walkable from the hotel. Also this is probably the only hotel outside of Vegas I’ve seen with this many elevators which is amazing (you’ll never have to wait long at all) especially if you’re here for a concert at Soldier field since there will probably be a lot of other guests there at the same time going up/down at the same time. Food choices are solid too; Trader Joe’s is a 10 min walk away and you can grab a cheap deep dish slice at Art of Pizza 5 min walking distance if you don’t have it in you to order a whole pizza at other joints.

Overall the stay was ok for the minimal time spent in the room. The cleanliness on the other hand. The windows had cobwebs with baby spiders (I wiped them up before my kids saw). There was pubic hair in the corner of the bathroom next to the shower and in the bathtub. We only had one wash cloth for 4 people and one large bath towel. The hand soap was empty and had to use the body soap from the shower to wash our hands. For the price of the room, I was very disappointed. The staff was kind and parking was easy in and out.
