Like a holiday in with slightly nicer finishes. TV on a wall not visible from the bed. So you can’t watch tv. Said they had a full service spa, they don’t have a spa at all. 1 person working desk. Slow. Nothing nice about the property. Just a cheap place to lay your head.

The room we had was really nice and clean when we arrived. The area around the hotel was outstanding. We loved the location of the hotel. We were a little disappointed with the service from the staff though. I do think a big part of the issue is they were short staffed, but it was an issue for us a couple of times. On one occasion the front desk didn’t pick up the phone when I was trying to reach them about something for 20 minutes. When we were leaving I called down to the valet to have them bring our car around about 20 minutes before we were leaving like they suggested. When we got down to the lobby the guy working at the valet was just standing there and our car wasn’t pulled up. He then pretended he couldn’t find my keys for a minute, then he “found them” and went and got our car, but we were waiting for 15 additional minutes for him to go get the car. Overall the pros of the hotel outweighed the cons, but I’d probably try and stay somewhere else on my next visit to Chicago.

Check in was a disaster. Check in time was 4pm. We arrived at 5pm, but our room wasn't ready. We were told it would be a short wait. We had a 7pm dinner reservation, and hoped that the room would be ready in time for us to change clothes and freshen up, but this was not to be. We ended up having to change clothes in the lobby rest rooms (which were filthy) and my wife had to put on her makeup inthe lobby. I did get a text message that our room was finally ready while we were eating dinner.

Absolutely beautiful! Staff was amazing, room was spacious and updated.. Only thing I would have changed is to add at least one outlet... had to move the nightstand so I could plug in my laptop.

Just godawful beds and pillows. No maid service either. And to put the icing on the cake, they only have 2 elevators, one of which actually even works, causing long wait times and crowded elevators once you get inside. When we went to check out, we waited in a line on the 16th floor while elevator after elevator was full of others leaving, and once we were finally able to all cram inside, we stopped on literally every floor on the way down as other travelers peeked inside with envy and annoyance. Would never stay there again...

The bathroom lights wouldn't shut off. I wasn't able to use a chip reader when paying for room.

Overall nice room, clean and spacious. It's an older property but in a good location in the river north area. Parking cost was very good for the area, and located around the corner from the hotel. Staff informed us it was not their parking structure and we did not have in/out privileges.

21c Museum Hotel is beautiful. The museum is quiet and wonderful art is displayed. The second floor is the best. Our room was quiet and extremely clean. This is one of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in when visiting Chicago. I want to make sure all understand it is also a small room, which can not be seen by the pictures on the site. However, that did not bother us because of the amount of time taken to make the room clean. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom are roomy and the shower water is greatly heated. Great locations also. Many styles of eatery's in the area and across from Trader Joe's.. Excellent salads all day. The hotel restaurant is nice during the Happy Hours. All in all a very good hotel. I will surely visit again

Great location with a nice room and very comfortable beds. Workout room is very well equipped and the art display is a very nice and unique touch. In room heater/AC unit is noisy and multiple wall outlets would not hold a plug.

Location, Location, Location! Elevators could be slow & full at times but overall we enjoyed are stay. The art is fun and colorful.

It was very clean, and nice.

Front desk was rude to me

Great decorating w edgy art makes this downtown hotel feel cutting edge urban. A great change from cookie-cutter hotels. Love this new chain of hotels

Elavator was broke. Staff seemed overwhelmed and impartial.

Great space and great happy hour at the lure
