I attempted to get foam versus the typical feather pillows 3 times during my two night stay. I requested a room without down pillows/comforters when I booked the room. Upon arriving that night I realized I had feather pillows. I called the front desk to ask for foam pillows...30 minutes pass and nothing. I call again and they say they don't recall me calling and they send someone 15 minutes later that arrives....with feather pillows. I am allergic to feather pillows and at that point I just gave up and purchased my own pillows the next day. Also, the room had a very noisy A/C unit that woke me up every time it turned on. Needless to say, I was not impressed.

This was an impromptu trip for the guy and I so we were just looking for simple yet accommodating place to stay. The staff was extremely friendly. I have no complaints about this place. Very clean, very cozy...just great.

Booked this hotel for one night, prior to an early morning flight out of Charleston Int. airport, due to flooding in Charleston. Wanted to be sure we could get to the airport. For the low price, this was a good value. Very close to the airport, and the place loos like it has been recently renovated. The rooms are basic but the beds were comfortable, there was enough room, and the hotel offered a restaurant, bar and fitness center, along with an outdoor pool. Because we were there for one night, we only used the restaurant and bar. Food was OK, bar was nice. Only complaint was with housekeeping. They were sloppy. While the overall room was clean, the coffee maker still had a used coffee pod in it and we were not given the replacement coffee pods. Also, the bathroom looked as if someone had sprayed parts of it but never wiped it down, as there were streaky surfaces in several places. We notified them at checkout and they were very apologetic. If you need a place to stay at the airport, I would recommend this hotel. It was easy to get to and only 5 minutes from the airport.

I travel a lot and in general have patience with hotels. But this experience was to much. It started by them committing to pick me up at the airport in A few minutes , forty five minutes later I was picked up. Did i say it was raining and I was wet when I arrived. I told the woman at the desk, did she upgrade me or even say sorry, not a chance She put me in a room in the middle of construction. I asked for a transfer and I was placed on the 6th floor where the ice machine made as much noise as the air planes taking off, and it did not work (no ice available). It gets better. The housekeeper walked in without knocking just as I heading into the shower. This place has the worst trained people I have yet to encounter at a hotel. Stay away until you hear there is new management.

Traveling with my Aunt and decided to stay over. Lovely hotel!! Clean, quiet and the staff was wonderful in giving suggestions about the area. They directed us to a wonderful local café that was absolutely one of the best in the area!

I really enjoyed my stay it was very clean and great customer service.

We only stayed for 2 nights. The first room we were put in didn't have working AC which was a problem in the middle of the summer heat. But the staff was great and moved us promptly into another room. A little pricey considering it was so far from downtown charleston and has just ok amenities.

The hotel was clean. We needed air freshener for our room we usually bring our own we forgot and they did not have any. We did not know breakfast was not complimentary. The hotel was in a great location!

Best hotel next to the airport. Walking distance from restaurants and shopping.

The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly face. I loved the entire atmosphere of this hotel which made me feel more welcome and comfy. The front desk always asked how your day was going or what your plans were today, even adding to things you should do while in Charleston. I had no complaints and will be recommending this hotel to everyone who talks about visiting Charleston.

Enjoyed the great bed comfort, easy to get in and out of charleston , outlets . Price buster! Thanks!

Our room was clean and the king bed was very comfortable. Front desk clerks were courteous and informative. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Weekend trip. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and location was perfect!

The location was perfect, being located next to the airport, major freeways, and a shopping center. However, I had real issues with housekeepking. Urine on the seat at check-in. One day nobody cleaned the room. The next day, the dirty towels from the floor were folded and hung back up as to be used again even though they were dirty and full of sand from the beach.

We went to Charleston for a wedding/reception - hotel was very comfortable and staff was very friendly and helpful :) We didn't eat in the restaurant; however, our kids at breakfast and said the food needs improving. Overall - I would recommend your hotel! THANKS for great hospitality!

For the price and location you couldn't get a better deal. The breakfast was excellent.

This Holiday Inn is a few minutes south of the Charleston International Airport. It is very convenient to major highways that will take you to downtown Charleston in less than 20 minutes. It is also close by the major Gardens, such as Magnolia Plantation, Middleton Place and Boone Hall. The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. It was a very pleasant experience. Thank you.

I stayed for work so my assistant booked the hotel for me and I was very pleased. The room was exceptionally spacious and comfortable!

The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and were professional. We had to change rooms because we weren't able to order a movie--the server was down on the entire floor. Everything else went smoothly and Mom was happy.

Overall great place to stay. Great staff and nicely appointed rooms.
