I reserved my room through Expedia weeks before arriving. When I did, the gentleman checking me in had me swipe my credit card (I assumed for incidentals), and I repeated that I reserved with Expedia and was already charged for the room to make sure. The following morning I I checked my account and saw that I was charged for my room a second time. The room smelled pretty musty, and I saw mold and dirt in multiple places. My key card also stopped working at one point for some reason. Overall, it was a cheap room, but not as nice as the pictures on the site. My overcharge was remedied, but the refund took a couple days. Not ideal when traveling! The area is not very walkable either; sidewalks on both sides of this busy road were closed off.

Mold in bathroom.

The service was decent. The staff was friendly. The room, while clean and put together, there was mold on the bathroom ceiling, paint was peeling off the door and frame, and the hair dryer didn't work. I say only decent for service, because when we brought the issues to their attention, we were told to talk to the manager who wasn't there and wouldn't be there for hours. Nobody with the authority to do anything was available.

Room was filthy! Absolutely disgusting. Our socks turned black from walking on the carpet! Shower was dirty. Sheets were itchy. Smelled like mildew. Dirtiest hotel room I ever stayed in!

I have always felt save and comfortable in this hotel. They do and excellent job of cleaning and maintaining the property. However it can be noisy due to the traffic in the area and around the buildings. They have been doing some repaving along Red Bank Road. The work was not well done. The plantings and signs marking the entrance to the hotel drive make it almost impossible to see oncoming traffic.
