I booked this hotel room for my employee that used to live in the Charleston area. The front desk woman told him that they do not allow locals to stay at the hotel. He no longer lives in the area, but still has a local ID. I found this policy to be asinine.

I liked the room, the front desk manager was nice and it was peaceful. I think that the property could use a refresher on the outside, have the parking lot paved because it is a little rough and I if you take a left turn out of the lot and go to the light you have to go right and all of a sudden you’re on the bridge to Charleston, which was a surprise. Overall, I thought it was a good value.

The rooms were clean and the room was right over the bridge. Convenient location The front desk staff was rude and lazy. Bith at check in and out. Not only with me but the gentleman in front of me asked about his nonworking room key. Staff was so ugly to him. Made me rethink staying there.

Perfect and affordable

Was visiting a friend in Charleston and didnt want to spend a fortune. This place was perfect. Clean swimming pool. Convenient. In hotel row it seemed. Excellent breakfast. Would recommend if you aren't the "have to have the best" type.

I was asked a $50 deposit at the desk. It was abligatory. So i payed it. What if I didn't have that money at the time of check in, i then couldn't stay there even after i payed expedia, and no return money. It wasn't right.

Very convenient to sight seeing in Charleston, parking in Charleston is very expensive and there is no free parking even at the visitors center so a hotel that included free parking was a plus! There is a beautiful park/ fishing pier that is wonderful if you want a nice walking area! The staff were very nice especially Faith! She was very helpful in restaurant recommendations. The only downside is the hotel is somewhat isolated and not close to restaurants or bars. Would stay there again if in Charleston
