I was very impressed for an older hotel. The bathroom, specifically the shower, was one of the nicest bathrooms I’ve experienced in a hotel. The exercise room has state of the art cardio equipment to include 4 or 5 treadmills. Some of the furniture in my room could use an upgrade, but the bed was super comfortable. I’ll be staying here anytime I return.

All 3 elevators broke so that was not fun. Everything else was excellent. The staff are nice. The room was nice and clean. My kids enjoyed the pool. I was vey happy.

Staff very nice and friendly. Great pool area. Needs a new hotel manager with attention to detail. The same half-used bottle of water was on a couch at the 10th floor elevator for three days, ignored by the housekeepers, until I finally disposed of it myself. Trash on the hallway floor was finally cleaned up in the evenings.

The good: All in all, the property was nice, clean, and inviting. I would stay here again. The bad: There was some sort of "pageant" at the hotel the night of our stay. Upon our arrival at around 1pm, we were told (quite rudely) that "due to the max capacity, our room wouldn't be ready for check in until after 3pm". So our only option was to "wait" someplace for 2 hours. We went to one of the local restaurants to get food and kill time. When we came back at 3:15, There was only one person doing the check ins and he was quite overwhelmed because the line was over 20 people long, and this process took almost 45 minutes. On top of that, only two of the three (four?) elevators were working so there was a long line to get upstairs and back down to the lobby. We were on 12 so walking back and forth was not really an option every time. And on night two, the TV stopped working.

Loved the hotel, did not have no issues during my stay and staff was great!

Had to get new room 5 min after check in. Bathroom smelled disgusting and bulbs burnt out in bedside lamps. 2nd room's shower handle was loose and would fall from 9 o'clock position to 6 o'clock scalding you. 12 o'clock was to cold. Had to request towels and soap daily. 1 bar of soap only between sink and shower until extra requested. Very friendly and accomodating staff though. That was nice.

Love the atmosphere and decor!! Love the location and free parking.

Staff took care of unruly neighbors at 2am real fast!

Nice stay at a nice place. Close to all places I needed to visit..

We loved the new updates. The only issue w/ the room is it could have used a little more light. It stays a little to dark even w/ all the lights on. The same goes for the bathroom! We had dinner the night we arrived at Stinky's and I will have to say we were a little disappointed. Service was slow because they seemed under staffed and had they had a large table in the restaurant and that seemed to have everyone's attention. We waited for every course of our meal for extended periods of time. We liked one of our apps but the main courses were bland and we thought it was going to be better. We had higher expectations then what was delivered would be the best way to word it. The hotel staff was friendly accommodating!

It was great, the Staff was grear but no free breakfast and no free wifi sucks for the amount I paid. Plus my room lost power for a hour at 9pm at night and we had to wait in the dark until the maintance man got off break to do something about it.

Great hotel. Very nice newly updated hotel and great staff.

They overbooked the hotel and sent me to a Residence Inn down the street despite me being a Gold Marriott member. Completely ridiculous

Very impressed with hotel. staff and amenities. My new go to hotel when staying in Baton Rouge.
