Check in was easy and fast. We got to the room and had a conjoining door that didn’t have a lock and behind the door was insulation. I’m not quite sure if the other room is closed off or not, as we didn’t have any interference or encounters with the other room. Room 228 has a window with no opening access, but it’s blocked off by window shades outside the window. And behind the shades is a light that stays on non-stop. Needless to say, the light shined thru the sliding shades inside the room, so I had a hard time sleeping. The pillows were too firm for us. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom is located inconveniently under the counter behind you. The wait staff and food were really good. We had dinner at the restaurant on site and got the Steak Caesar wrap with fries, BLT w/fries, and seafood gumbo…all were very good! THE GYM!! Wow!! It’s better than the Anytime Fitness I go to regularly. Take advantage! Overall, I’d say it was a 3.8-4 had we had a better room.

The Breakfast I prepaid for was a buffet. Not a good one for 18 dollars, the food was cold or Luke warm. I had to order something hot and it cost me another 18 dollars. It was a poorly run buffet. Hotel’s amenities stink now days.

The property is very nice. The most staff was pleasant and personable. Dinner was excellent. Food and service. Probably one on the best Ribeye's we have ever had. We reserved a assesable room with a roll-in-shower but there was no shower bench/chair. Wasn't helpful for wheelchair guest. Called front desk. Attendant said he would check but no-one ever followed up.

Our stay was 3day 2night stay. Key cards wouldn't work and had to go down to get new key cards both nights to get in room. Prepaid for breakfast 2days. Only grits and oatmeal hot and at right temp. Sausage eggs breakfast potatoes barely warm. No pancakes or waffles as described in advertisment ad due out of mix all weekend per staff. Room cleaning staff was very polite and helpful.
