Nice price for a night.,but needed to have the price adjusted during renovations .

It was a quick overnight stay and the hotel offered all we needed.

The hotel was a let down after staying at Crowne Plaza'scin other cities. My room appeared to be very dated including the AC unit that was exceptionally loud. The hotel lacks amenities in the room such as a mini-bar and movies on demand. Breakfast was okay but not worth paying extra for. The hotel will also nickel and dime you for everything. They even charged for a plain small cup of coffee in the lobby. It was not what I was expecting from a luxury brand like Crowne Plaza. I would have probably had a better quality room at their cheaper sister brand, Holiday Inn.

The bath tub backed up and did not drain properly. Hotel lobby was nice but the elevator took forever. Updates to common areas but the room was subpar compared to what you experienced coming into the hotel. I like Crown Plaza Hotels but I probably won't stay at this one again.

The Crown Plaza is an expensive hotel among the stretch of hotels on Constitution Avenue in Baton Rouge. However, given its price, it can improve significantly on service and room comfort. The front desk staff, while not rude, appears indifferent to the customer's needs and does not go that extra mile to help him/her out. For example, since I was on government business, I enquired about the sales tax exemption. I was flatly told that the hotel cannot honor the exemption because I did not make my reservation directly through the hotel. The rooms are okay, but the bedding is old and the pillows just not firm enough for a good night's rest. The ironing board is also old and the cushioning pad is worn out.

wasn't the best, but for the price, it was great. low pet deposit was a nice plus. house keeping waking us up at 9:30 a.m. was a little annoying. (put the do not disturb sign out!) walls are a little thin, but for the age of the hotel, it is well kept.

I took 13 associates to this hotel for a business conference. We had a good experience. Best of all the hotels we could have chosen on Constitution Ave. I would come back again.

I arrived after driving from a terrible rainstorm from Houston to Baton Rogue. When I arrived the front desk clerk checked me in and gave me a key to 205. Then she asked for it back, changed the room and gave me a key for 340. I proceeded to the room after asking if she was certain this was the room she wanted me in and when I slid the key it opened the door but only to find it locked from the inside. Also, I could hear a baby crying. Seemed very unsual. I went back down stairs to the front desk with all my luggage, hanging clothes and overnight bag, informed her what happened. She gave me a strange look, then gave me back the room key for 205. Very soon again, very tired and now frustrated, I arrived in my room, 205. I was trying to make sure the rental of the room included the breakfast option I had purchased online and this seemed to have thrown her completely off. Not a good experience.

I used this hotel for a meeting and could not have asked for better. The location was great. Right off the interstate but not noisy! The grounds were beautiful and they even had parking close to the hotel reserved for women. That was great when getting in late. The room was comfortable. The TV was a little spotty with channels but I slept well. The people were nice and it was good for my stay.

Spent a night in this hotel during a business trip. The room was comfy and just what I needed for a quick stay.

Only stayed one night. Came to town for an LSU game. It was a six pm kickoff and we didn't check in til midnight. Room was clean enough and the bed slept ok. The smoke smell just about took our breath when we walked in. It wasn't too bad after we turned the air on and opened the door for a little while. Other than that, the room was fine and pretty close to the stadium. It was a bit expensive also, but it was game day.

Stayed here for an LSU football game. Great location close to campus, and the hotel ammenities were very good. The room was not ready for us to check in by the time we left for the game at 3:00. We did not get to check in until after the game at 11:00pm, which means we had the room for a total of 9 hours before we checked out. The hotel offered a "game day shuttle" tot take people to and from the staduim for $20 per person. The problem was that there were 150 people doing this and only a 15 passenger van to transport everyone. We waited 45 minutes before the game for a ride and an hour after to be picked up. What a ripoff...

First off,I would really like to know how many people that has used [...] to reserve a room got over charged,or should I say double charged for the taxs and other charges. Wonder how many have just payed it since it was a small charge on a bill slid under your door when you wake up. Who was or is behind this kinda buisness?Orbits do you have a deal with the hotel to save 20 bucks when a customer isnt aware and just pays it again?Or is it on the hotels side dropping the ball? For the hotel it self..I'll never chose a Crown Royal again because of the way the doors in the room are desighned, theres no mechanizem to keep the doors from slamming all night long as people enter their rooms.Nothing worse than being woke up every 45 minutes from a KABAMM when someone enters their room ANY WERE on the wing!

The hotel was descent but nothing to really brag about. The carpet could have been cleaner and it needed a little TLC. Overall not too bad.

It was great. We weren't in the rooms much but the staff was very friendly
