Beds were clean. Place was run down. Weird smell in lobby. First room smelled mildewy. They did promptly offer to change rooms and let me check it out. Smell better, but both rooms were old and needed definite updating. No sheets/pillows/blankets for pull out. No hairdryer, couldn’t get one till maybe 8 am because no key to housekeeping closet. Musty smell, dirty, poor quality updates, shower didn’t drain, stood in ankle deep water at the end of the shower, ice machine broken, busted stucco on every post in the walkway, stained carpets, cold coffee, one whole wall of outlets stopped working, tried all the gym equipment, only the bike worked, back gate was left open by a block on the ground, seemed to have people living there, smelled weed, some questionable people smoking it out in the open.

The staff, the quiet, service were awesome. The building needs updating and renovation. The staff are doing the best they can with what they have. Other than that the stay was great and we had a blast in Baton Rouge and LSU. Such a welcoming town. ✌️🇺🇸😎

Good but not great.

Room was clean, staff was friendly, hot shower. Downside, room was very dated. Bathroom door stuck due to tile floor being unlevel. Iron on outside steps very rusted to the point rusted through in some areas. Also, coffee filters did not fit coffee machine.
