The customer service was nice at the front desk upon my check in, the next morning went to breakfast, it was disappointing the eggs were over cooked, the grits were runny!!! In Louisiana how are the grits runny??? I’m confused , no waffle maker not many choices at all the coffee was good. I asked the hostess did they have any fruit I got an abrupt no. I like to stay in places that offer breakfast that is 1 less meal that I have to worry about on vacation. The next morning after a good sleep, the beds are comfortable I go to the bathroom, there are 2 roaches in the bath tub near the drain and I took a photo. I don’t expect to pay to stay at a place with roaches. The location and the look of the hotel were nice, but I definitely will not stay there or any other Wyndham Garden hotel chain again, they have a lot to work on.

As we walked into the room, there was a very strong odor of bleach and we found a jug of insecticide on the counter. I took the jug to the front desk and politely asked for another room. We got the room next door to the first one. I will not be using this site again.

Super convinience nice, staff very profesional. Our family were in the hotel in our way to drop our daugther to the unviersity LSU. Arrived in the afternoon after a long drive from weston florida. We enjoy de hotel and facilities, rest took a shower an sleep, next day breakfast was nice and we continiung our trip. Very convinience for us.

From the outside, the hotel looks a little tired but our stay was terrific overall. The complimentary breakfast was very good as well. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Hotel was very nice. Front desk service was horrible. Had to lift the door to my room to get it to latch shut but rooms were very clean and well stocked. Can be quite confusing to get in their driveway. Pool closed the day we got there and remained closed during our stay which really disappointed my kids. The staff could not get the pool ph levels right.

We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this hotel was. The staff were all very helpful, and the breakfast area clean and well stocked. My children were thrilled with the marshmallows for the hot chocolate, and my husband enjoyed a Diet Coke with his breakfast. It is very conveniently located next to the highway. We would jump at the chance to stay here again.

This hotel is in a good location; just off I-10. The young man at the service desk told us to "sign here and initial here and here." He gave us our key with vague directions to our room. He had no name tag and did not introduce himself. The next young man wore a t-shirt for a restaurant and no name tag. We asked that our potty be plunged, as it ran very very slowly with only 2 pieces of paper. A man came up immediately and flushed and he waited and waited for the water to go down. Then he pronounced it fine and walked out. We decided not to argue. The next morning, of course, when we had to use the toilet, the water rose and would not go down. My husband had to use a toilet in the main part of the hotel. A different man arrived and he did plunge and then it worked. Breakfast was supposed to begin at 6. We were on a schedule. It started at 7:10. We got a late start to our day. When we left, a friendly young woman was at the desk. She was wearing a name tag.

The phone in one of our rooms did not work and there wasn't an iron. We let hotel staff know and they got us an iron quickly. Friday morning as we were getting ready, we spotted a mouse in our room. We had the people in the other room call the front desk. Maintenance guy came up and couldn't find it. Front desk let us change rooms. The new room had stains on the couch and carpet. The staff was absolutely amazing.

When we checked in at 9pm, the 1st room they gave us hadn't been cleaned from the previous people that stayed & had no sheets on the beds. They did apologize and quickly give us another room that was clean. It was nice to have "living" room with a TV and door to seps rate the bedroom in case someone wants to stay up later. There were plenty of towels and microwave, refridgerator and coffee maker. The free breakfast was very nice with scrambled eggs, sausages, pancakes, oatmeal with toaster for bread items and various cold items. We were pleased with our stay.

Bathroom door about to fall off its hinges. Could hurt someone.

Security lights outside kept the room too well lit at night. Towels were removed after first night and not replaced. Staff were attentive but not friendly and maid staff did not appear to understand English

Staff was very friendly, and nothing wrong with the hotel. Pretty basic, but so was the price.

I pretty much enjoyed my stay at Wyndham Garden. Anything we needed was promptly provided and the staff was friendly. The only issue we had was that our room had not been cleaned by housekeeping when we returned from our day out. As for the bathroom, I would have rather had the sink in with the toilet and tub and not in the sleeping area.

The only problem we had was after being out all day 9 to 6 our room had not been cleaned. That was okay, but we needed fresh towels.

Very pleasant stay, nice facility and rooms and competent and friendly staff. I made a non-refundable reservation for the wrong date, and then the real reservation I needed. They easily agreed to a refund of the wrong one, which i greatly appreciated. If you choose this hotel you will be in good hands.

roaches in the bathroom

It’s a roach!!!

Our apologies. Unfortunately, sometimes a lone pest makes his way inside. We have a pretty strict protocol for these situations, and we take every precaution to keep our guests safe and healthy and have monthly service from exterminators under contract with us.

cheaper hotel right off the interstate
