We loved the ambiance and décor, the clean rooms, and the availability of food downstairs. The TV built into the mirror is awesome! One suggestion is to write directions for coffee maker. We had to call for help.

Ants throughout room. In bathroom and on night stand. My cell phone was covered with ants when I took off charger in the morning. We reported to front desk at checkout and staff didn’t seem to care

The steakhouse was so good! We were every happy with our say. Only complaint is there was not spa.

Thin walls. Belligerent neighbor next door woke us up @ 2:30 in AM. I think Hotel had limited resources to deal with this problem. Lasted all morning.

Was initially excited to stay at this hotel. We arrived pretty late around midnight after driving multiple hours to get there. So, of course we were tired. But as soon as we stepped inside our room it was very unsatisfactory, as it smelled terribly of cigarette smoke. Of which was odd because, it's a smoke free hotel. I was too tired to complain, I just wanted to go to sleep. So, I decided to go to the bathroom to get ready for bed. I closed the bathroom door, & looked at the floor to find bloody bath towels there! Ran out of the bathroom immediately despite having to pee really bad. Called the front desk immediately to get the bathroom cleaned. Mind you, we are exhausted & had to go to the bathroom ... We waited for over 35 minutes for housekeeping to show up, but no one came. I called to the front desk again to see how long it was going to take, letting him know that we were waiting to go to the bathroom, & go to bed. He just said...Sorry they just had a shift change, someone will be there soon. After waiting for 20 more minutes, housekeeping finally came...So it took almost an entire hour to get anyone up there. But, in the housekeepers defense that showed up to our room, she was horrified at what she found left in the bathroom by her coworkers before her. She was very kind & thorough in cleaning the bathroom. We gladly tipped her for her service. Overall the hotel front desk staff should be more mindful of their guests needs. They didn't even offer an apology or anything

We checked in around 11pm and Terrell who checked us in was in a great mood and has a great attitude! Sometimes when we check in so late at night at other hotels, we are not greeted with such an upbeat attitude. The hotel room was probably one of the nicest I've stayed in, it was clean and modern. I loved the sliding barn door to the bathroom and the tv in the bathroom mirror was really cool. The complimentary water bottles were a nice touch. The bed is comfy and we appreciated the USB ports. We definitely plan on returning!

The hotel and the room were absolutely fantastic. The check in desk staff was very polite and professional. The casino staff were extremely rude. An not the least bit helpful. At midnight I was able to hear a female arguing with someone out near the parking garage. I called the front desk and the next morning I found a female passed out in the area where I had heard the yelling. I was shocked that hotel staff or security had not noticed this person sleeping on the ground all night. I will give the hotel another try but won't patronize the casino based on the poor staff experience.

My husband and I went to Baton Rouge to celebrate our 1st year married together and had a great time. The hotel was beautiful and comfortable. We had bought tickets to the Batou Country Fest at LSU stadium and the distance was not bad at all. I would totally recommend this hotel and end up staying here again.

The check-in was a little slow. We checked in after 11 pm so there was a reduced staff. There also seemed to be an issue with the room for the customer in front of us. Our initial reservation called for a Luxery King, but when we arrived were told We only have an Accessible King Left and that was that. There is no ill-will towards Accessible Rooms, but that is not was originally promised. We took the room as we had to have a place to stay. It was still a nice room. The security guard/ bellman that was stationed at the self-parking entrance was very nice to us and gave us directions before we even asked. The location was a bit out of the way, but we did stay there for the Casino access. Casino was average to less-than-average sized. Smokey as expected, but there was also trash frequently and plenty of ash trays that were full with ash littered around the trays.

My Fiancé and I decided to take a weekend trip to Baton Rouge and go check out The 13TH Gate. When looking for a hotel we chose this one because they have another location near our home. The parking was excellent, had absolutely no trouble finding a parking spot. The staff was very friendly. The room was very comfortable. We will definitely be using this hotel on our next stay in Baton Rouge.

Great expectations from such a beautiful facility. The staff was not prepared, not responsive, not available and not attentive. The valet was the best service of the evening.

Very nice hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Went for the casino and the hotel was an added bonus and very luxurious. Thought the price was a little expensive for a casino hotel. Nothing for children to do while adults are in the casino.

This place was pretty nice. Their rooftop pool area was nice also but the water was pis warm and the pool is the size of an oversize hot tub. Besides casino, there is nothing else to do.

Road trip, nice overnight, great value for $$$ spent. Breakfast buffet very good, dinner buffet OK but not great.

Great room, great service, outstanding location. Just cannot say enough.
