The staff are not friendly, while I’m talking to the guy he started to use his phone like I’m not talking to him. Room is not very clean with hair in the carpet. No slippers, toothpaste, water, or cotton swabs. Mattress is very uncomfortable and AC is not working well. Not many options for breakfast.

The location is phenomenal, short walk to the Battery and there’s a Waffle House, gas station and Wendy’s just a few steps away. Breakfast is pretty solid but the mattresses aren’t very comfortable. Recommend for the price.

All in all I enjoyed the stay. One elevator was not in use which made the wait time longer than normal. The room was comfy with normal amenities. The continental breakfast was excellent and the hotel is close to the Roxy and Baseball field. I would definitely stay again. The only other issues were the closet door was broken and the hot water for the shower was a bit tricky to get it to start.

The room was clean and staff was very pleasant. I would say breakfast was just okay. Our room in particular did not have much water pressure for the shower, but we did not ask for it to be addressed (so it potentially could have been fixed). The lobby and hotel were clean and in a good area we felt safe with just women traveling. Decent deal for the price.
