InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta

After a 7 day work week at roadside business hotels i decided to treat myself to a better hotel for one night. Your beautiful lobby, friendly check in, luxury type room that had a beautiful view was just what I was looking for. And all for several hundred dollars less that several other five star hotels in the area.

Had a nice time clean and comfortable room Staff was very nice and helpful

Was greeted with a smile and staff was extremely helpful. Room was clean and comfortable I will stay here again

Our stay at the Intercontinental was wonderful. The front desk staff and concierge team was top notch. Very friendly, attentive and gave suggestions on food and live music. I'll definitely stay again.

Upon arrival, room not ready for over an hour. No pool beverage service, dirty room, uncomfortable bed and pillows. TV remote didn't work. I've stayed at many 5 star hotels. This place is 3 star on a good day.

Birthday gift for my husband---day and night out in Buckhead and hotel accommodations. Lunch at Souper Jenny's, shopping at Lenox Square, Bennie's shoe store, dinner at Chin Chin restaurant, cocktails at Inter-Continental bar, jazz night at Churchill Grounds and listening to jazz group in lobby of InterContinental Hotel; breakfast at Goldberg's and back to Roswell, Ga for home-bound activities.

Except...there was expired product in the refrigerator. unacceptable!!

The valet guys and bell hops were great. Had a hard time getting service at the bar area, I'm assuming it's because I look young, I was skipped over a few times. Also, front desk not as friendly as I would've expected but overall, beautiful hotel. Spotty wifi. Room was clean!

Everything was great including a glitch. We come for breakfast on Thanksgiving morning. The breakfast buffet stops at 10:30 am. We come at 10:15 am. The 3 staff members standing at the reception area tell us the kitchen is closed and will re-open at 11:30 am for lunch. We leave for an hour and come back 11:15 am. The same 3 staff members tell us we cannot get in unless we had a reservation. We mention we want to make a reservation. They reply nothing available until dinner - in an irritated manner. We go back to the bar area and order some drinks from their Bourbon Bar. We ask the very professional bar attendant - Kenny- if he has a bar food menu. He mentions the restaurant has a great menu. We tell him that's what we want but couldn't get in. Swiftly, he mentions if we would mind eating on the outside terrace. By all means! we reply. He walks us to the outside terrace where nobody else was and said he would personally see that he remains our server. The whole experience was awesome and his service was impeccable. We spent several hundreds of dollars and were more than happy to tip Kenny greatly - a man of solutions! At night, we come back to the bar with other friends and no one is serving us - apparently they are short-staffed or too busy. We bump into Kenny again, he comes to our table and we let him know what the issue is and want him to be our server. He comes back within minutes with our awesome drinks (yes, Bourbon bar serves exquisite concoctions). To summarize, we asked Kenny what was his days off (Sundays and Mondays so you know) and told him we will from this point on, only come back to this hotel when he's on duty. That's how awesome he is. Besides this glitch - a stint with disappointment that makes the difference between coming back or forgetting that hotel exists - it was widely compensated by Kenny - this dedicated staff member.

Best hotel for your money. Very nice hotel has everything that you need

It was great no complaints!! Love the location and the hospitality! I would come to this hotel all the time!!

Nice place, but I should've just stayed where I normally do for half the price.

I really enjoyed the stay here. The staff from Valet, Check-in, Concierge, everyone was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to family and friends. Art Smith's restaurant was delightful. The one thing I would advise is to consider whether the upgrade is worth it. We were never there for the 2hour window of cocktail hours, breakfast room was always crowded and nowhere to sit and a higher floor still did not give much of a view. That being said, I enjoyed this hotel and would stay here again.

Came to the Intetcontinental because it was close to the resturant where my son works. Wanted a special night for my friends birthday. Hotel was nice was't aware that a $100 was required at check-in in case we use the mini bar in our room, the ice machine didn't work on our floor called front desk it took about 20 mins to get ice, tv remote didn't work and didn't get parking pass at check-in had to wait for someone to let us out of the parking garage to go to dinner. Room was nice thought service would have been alittle better for the money.

What a beautiful hotel. The rooms were 5 star and the staff had all the Southern Charm you would expect in Atlanta.

We had a pleasant stay and will be back soon. Can't wait to schedule our next adventure.

My flight to Washington, DC was delayed a day. Rather than drive an hour home, I booed a room at the InterContinental, where, coincidentally, i patronize routinely for spa services (which are amazing! Ask for Danielle for massages and Jeamae for facials) but where I have never stayed. The room was contemporary chic and very comfortable. I ordered room service and the meal was delivered within the promised timeline and it was delicious. Service - check-in, room service, valet - were all top notch, striking the delicate balance of friendly and professional. I will gladly recommend the InterContinental to out-of-towners for all the reasons above in addition to the fact that it is perfectly located in the heart of Atlanta's famed Bulkhead.

The room was smaller than anticipated and not that many amenities for the price

A good choice however there's nothing complimentary here. From fresh coffee, parking, etc.

It was a great experience. The staff was very prompt and polite. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable. This hotel is absolutely worth the price.
