We have stayed at the Novotel around 10-15 times. We stay every year for the Distillery Christmas Market, and the location is hands down my favourite in Toronto. I have booked a number of rooms here from their basic king room to their suites, and each time I’ve been satisfied. The rooms are clean and well maintained, the bed has always been comfortable, and we have never had an issue with water pressure or broken items in the room. The hotel has great amenities, the pool is a nice touch as well as the gym, although I must admit I have only used these features a handful of times. Overall, the hotel is well maintained, and I have never had an issue with the quality of the hotels rooms or amenities. The main reason I keep coming back to this hotel is the location. With union station less than 5 minutes away, the city really feels at your front door. Whether you are catching a show at the Sony centre, a hockey game at Scotiabank arena, or just visiting the city for fun, every event feels close to the Novotel. I love this hotel, and I truly mean that. Some of the best moments in my life have happened because I chose to stay here. It’s not top of the line luxury, but I promise you if you stay here, you’ll leave the city feeling fulfilled. This truly is a fantastic location.

We were assigned a wheel-chair room which we didn't book. We booked a Superior King Room. When we complained we were told we got the King bed room we asked for. The bathroom had no vanity and the shower was not proper for anyone except someone in a wheel chair. The toilet kept running and the plug in the sink did not work. We have stayed at the Novotel many times but probably never will again. When we checked out, we were not asked how was our stay.
