Luxury Cabin Nestled in the Mountains! Enjoy Winter and Spring in the Smokies!

Bear Tyme is a beautiful, one of a kind luxury cabin with an open floor plan and expansive covered deck. Located in a gated community with terrific views of the Great Smoky Mountains across the valley, this cabin is a few minutes out of Pigeon Forge, toward Wear's Valley, with easy roads to drive. The cabin is decorated for the holidays from mid-November through mid January for your enjoyment.

The cathedral ceiling in the great room lends an airy feeling to the cabin, with floor to ceiling windows so you can enjoy the beautiful mountain view in any weather. The leather sofa and love seat are very soft and comfortable. There is a stacked stone, gas log fireplace to enjoy on cool autumn and winter nights, while the central heat and air keeps the cabin at just the right temperature year round. The dining table for 4 is conveniently located next to the windows, so you can enjoy the view while eating. We also have a 2 person breakfast bar in the kitchen, and a log style picnic table on the deck.

You'll have a luxury gourmet kitchen, including a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove and microwave, with dishes and cookware for whatever your dining plans might include. We do include salt, pepper, cooking oil and basic spices for you. Coffee options include both a conventional coffee pot and a Keurig with a couple of starter pods. You'll also find a toaster, hand mixer, blender and crock pot. Dish detergent and a couple of pods for the dishwasher are located next to the kitchen sink, along with a bottle of antibacterial hand soap. The wrap around deck includes a grill and picnic table, along with seating and a private, covered hot tub, so you can enjoy the Smokies to their fullest!

The bedroom on the main floor has a king sized bed, with soft linens, a quilt, and extra blankets seasonally available. There’s a large walk in closet where you can hang your clothes, if you’d like. The enormous master bath boasts a jacuzzi tub, spacious double vanity with great lighting and beautiful tile work in the oversized shower. An additional half bath on the main floor is tucked in near the kitchen for easy access.

The semi private second-floor loft includes a queen sleeper sofa, where 2 more can sleep, along with a full bathroom including stand up shower. There is also a work from home nook upstairs, with a computer monitor for your use. The game area in this loft has a pool table along with a chess/checkers/backgammon table; playing pieces are located under the board on the table. Enjoy watching one of 3 TVs with a 125 channel cable package, plus Blu-Ray/DVD players (and a few DVDs) at the end of a fun filled day, if you wish. Relax in the private hot tub on the back deck.

Also included in your rental cabin is a washer and dryer for your use should you need it. We provide a couple of laundry pods in the starter kit, but if you plan to do a lot of laundry, you might want to bring along or buy more. Hardwood floors throughout for a clean feeling, a nice front porch and 3 parking spaces round out this nice vacation space. If you're looking to do a little work, we've got you covered; the WiFi is very strong here, and we have completed a dedicated work from home space on the second floor, including a keyboard, monitor and mouse for you to use with your laptop while you're here.

This cabin has well water, which, here in the Smokies, contains minerals that often give it a discoloration or smell. To eliminate this problem, we have installed a state of the art, whole house water treatment system. This ensures that you'll have clean, fresh water for drinking, cooking, showering and the hot tub. Additionally, we have pest control systems in place to keep your experience as nice as possible.

Christmas is a big celebration in this area, and you'll enjoy the decorations all around Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg; Bear Tyme is decorated to extend that holiday feeling to you! Decorations are set up from mid November through January, so enjoy an early (or late) celebration here!

Bear Tyme is located in Wears Valley, between Pigeon Forge and Cades Cove, just a short drive from hiking in the National Park or enjoying Dollywood, The Island and other attractions. Between here and Pigeon Forge, you'll find less crowded attractions to enjoy, including an alpine coaster. You'll find gas stations and grocery stores nearby, along with plenty of dining options. Bear Tyme is a one of a kind luxury cabin you won't want to miss!

A couple of important things to note:

This cabin is on a hill, and although the HOA is diligent in maintenance, the roads may be difficult in the snow. We do not offer refunds due to weather. We would highly recommend trip insurance to protect your vacation. You may prefer to drive a 4 wheel drive vehicle if snow is predicted.
