Awful isn't a strong enough word. It was odd that the bed was made with fitted sheet, blanket, top sheet, in that order. I like to sleep between 2 sheets, so I untucked the bottom to switch them and two surgical syringes fell out of the covers (probably an issue for the health department). This also makes me seriously wonder if the bedding had been changed. I turned them in and the lady at the front desk said she'd report it to management but I've heard nothing. The floor was filthy. When I walked across the floor barefooted, my feet were black. Bathtub was badly stained and pitted. Hand sink ran at barely a trickle.There were two packs of coffee in room but no coffee pot. The room had lots of big black flies, annoying little sewer flies and a spider. Part of one bed rail was broken and sticking out. Bathroom door would not close, loose hinge. We had no maid service at all while we were there. There were no hand towels. A ceiling tile in bathroom was pushed up put of place and dirty. Broken wall hooks. Website said free coffee and breakfast item. Not! The lobby was locked up each day in the mornings. When we left, room keys were to be put in an unsecured open box. No food, vending machines, or ice machines available. Unmaintained, and the management doesn't seem to care. Totally unacceptable and in total filth and disrepair. Outside trash cans were open and running over. I think we should be refunded. I used to respect the Wyndham name, but now, not so much.
