The room was nice, a bit overpriced for what it is but nice. There were some things broken like the pocket door between bed and bath. We didn't have enough hot water for two showers and when I called to ask them to turn up the temp on the WH they told me to wait 45 minutes. The building was at the back of the property requiring a long and very steep drive. Several times driving around the property we got stuck behind a van unloading "very slow moving" people. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was missing trash cans for which they brought only one fairly quickly. I was disappointed to find out the water park was an extra $25 per person although it was pictured in the photos. I contacted Orbitz and they referred me to the listing, far below in a long list of amenities where it says (surcharge) next to water park. We didn't do the water park as it looked like a big wet playground. I just searched up Westgate Resorts and find out it's really a timeshare with many deceived investors. The place makes much more sense to me now, owners have different prices from guests for everything. Didn't try the restaurants though from the menu it looked decent and reasonably priced. All in all, I wouldn't go back to any of their properties and am a bit disappointed that Orbitz CSR's just argued with me about the listing fine print. I regret supporting this timeshare business though the stay was decent, the bed was comfortable at least which is a big plus.
We booked a 1 bedroom deluxe villa with 2 beds and a sleeper sofa. When we got there we did not get what we booked and was told that the rooms online are stock pictures of other Westgate hotel rooms. We only got the room because it looked huge and we had 6 people on trip. I went to office same day we checked in and was told there is nothing they could do because we got what we booked and I showed them the picture of what we booked and what is also being sold on their own website for the same room and it was the same as what is shown on Orbitz. We felt robbed because we paid 1400 something for a room we did not get . We very disappointed. It was great location nice resort but in my eyes false advertisement.
The rooms are amazing! The area is amazing!
We had 1 bed room villa and the initial room which was given to us was not at all at par to the second room which was given after we complained. The rooms were completely different style for the same style. Not happy that they assigned medicore room at first check in.
Beautiful views!
Everything was amazing
The rooms
The room was very nice and clean. The full kitchen in our room was very handy when we needed to eat but didn't want to eat out. The only thing I didn't like is how hard it was sometimes to get into the resort at certain times. When we came for check-in it took us almost 30 mins to get in with the line. Overall it was pretty good though
Without a doubt the very best place we have ever stayed in the area and we have gone annually for our whole lives. Staff was super friendly and the view of the mountains was beautiful. Will definitely go back!
Too little parking especially around the Waterpark. Room was like a mile up the mountain. Loud neighbors. Super crazy busy at check in caused delays
My wife and I loved our room. Everything went above our expectations. The staff is super friendly. The spa services were awesome! Overall, our stay was amazing. We will definitely be back.
The view of the mountain what is the only good thing of this resort
The resort was amazing, I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
