The room is seriously outdated and in dire need of repairs. The only thing clean was the bed. Thank goodness for that or I would not have stayed. The pool was so dirty/cloudy that you couldn’t see the bottom. I did not get in. Overall I would not stay again. The lady at the desk was very nice

Richard is very rude and hateful. He used words that shouldn't be repeated. I was lied to when i called and asked about what room type i booked then was screamed at when i got to the property and asked why i wasn't in the correct room. It was never fixed he blamed it all on expedia. I called expedia and they called and spoke with Richard and said that he called her names also and screamed at them. Riverchase would not give me anyone i could call or a way to speak to management. Richard is giving Riverchase a bad name!!

Anniversary trip

The room was clean. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and we didn’t sleep well at all and I left with back pain from it. Pillows were really flat. Staff was very nice and the location was very convenient. Highlight of the trip was leaving the pool area and being met with raccoons on the stairs. They apparently live above the guest balcony. Another thing my husband mentioned was the lack of the mini shampoo in the bathroom. The lodge was very welcoming.

I went out and purchased cleaning wipes and spray to clean the bathroom. The outside was not kept up very well. Someone was knocking on our door after we went to bed. We do not have pets so that was not an issue. Staff at the front desk were friendly.

It could use a little updating. You can tell the ceiling and walls had previous damage and were patched sloppy so updating that would be nice but over all we enjoyed the stay and will definitely stay again. Beds were soft, everything worked, excellent location

We chose this property because it was close to the things we wanted to do. It also had an indoor pool with a waterslide, so the kids were excited. What we didn't expect was an unclean bathroom. There was hair left behind in the tub, so it's clear they didn't clean. I'm not sure what else they didn't clean, but everything felt icky after we discovered the hair. Being on a main road was noisy, but we expected this somewhat. The indoor pool water was cloudy. We could not clearly see the bottom of the pool in 3-4 feet of water. The front desk manager said a filter wasn't working properly and they had a maintenance request in, but assured me the water was safe to swim in. We left after the first day and got a refund for the rest of our stay. We just couldn't get past the uncleanliness.
