Poolside room was not pool side. It had a window that saw the pool but was 9n second floor so was no better than any other room for pool access for handicapped persons. Hallways was full of fandls and rupped up parts of moulding and carpet from a flood, none of our vending or ice machine were operational on our floor and the pool rules hate children it seems cause they cannot sit with parents in the hot tub abd their pool hour is cut by 1 hr short and for a family the pool is for the kids, not us. The pool was supposedly heated but it clearly was not, the hot tub spills into the pool which means its not even stylayong hot, its more of a warm tub and only fits like 4-5 adults so very awkward space to be in. Staff was nice and location is food but between all that and the room quality. It was absolutely not worth the price. The carpet in our roof was falling apart, bathroom was so tiny and had garbage water pressure, and our mirror had burn marks all over it, honestly made me feel like i was in a motel 6 on the wrong side of town.

The beds were awful!!! Customer service is great! John is great! The pool is fun but yes it is noisy. There's really not enough amenities to justify the cost, and the beds were really uncomfortable. The balcony over looked the parking lot.

Rooms are in desperate need of updating. Doors we're not properly "lined" or sealed. You could see daylight. We had multiple bugs and a spider. Tiny bathrooms that you could barely move around in... more like the size of a half bath. Would not stay here again... especially for the price.

This hotel was probably top notch back in the day but it is very outdated and has not had quality updates. Like they’ve been slapping some paint on top of things for decades. Every thing in our room was rusty and old. I would not advise getting a poolside room because the noise from the waterfall and kids are so loud we couldn’t go to sleep until it closed for the night, which was at 11. The lobby was decorated nicely, the restaurant in the hotel had one waitress working on a Saturday night. We sat for an hour waiting on our pizza and it was cold when we got it. Was not impressed.

We loved our stay at Glenstone! All of the staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Just a short walk to downtown Gatlinburg and trolley accessible. The restaurant inside was very convenient. We can’t wait to plan our next stay!

I read the reviews before I made rhe decision to stay here and they were really misleading. We got to rhe room late and the Man that checked us in was really nice. We got to the room and turned the air on and it just didn't do anything. We suffered through the night. We woke up the next day and maintenance came out. He was a sweetheart. He reset the air conditioner and then the room smelled like it was on fire. The swimming pool was ok until it got so cold we shivered and left. The room was subpar. The barhroom was soooo snall you couldn't close the door unless you were in the shower. Just very disappointing when you spend $500 for a hotel room that should have been $49.99 a night. We had reservations for Nov and cancelled them to go elsewhere.

Checking in everybody was super friendly. Every time I went to the front desk they were always friendly. The carpet in the room was icky not as clean as I would like it. The tile floor in the bathroom was sticky so I cleaned it myself. Our room was inside room facing the pool. Loved it wish the room was a little more soundproof but overall I’m definitely coming back. The restaurant is not open for breakfast during the week. It’s only open on the weekends Friday, Saturday Sunday. The restaurant open at night service is very slow, but the food is good.

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Use of the pool and hot tub was nice at night to relax from walking all day! A lot of shops in the area and things to do. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!
