Forget the Expedia price you see, the resort is going to take your credit card for "ancillaries", not unusual. But then they will add a heavy daily "resort Fee - OTA" to your bill. I feel scammed.

Easy to add another night

Had to add another day of our stay, they were able to keep us in our VIP upgrade room for no additional charge. Very friendly staff and nice pools. Maybe recommend music during the weekend.

The resort offers five pools on the property and all of them are wonderful. Both eating establishments are very conveniently located on site and offers good food and drink choices. Our courtyard king bedroom was spacious and located near the main swimming pool, hot tub and spa. The entire resort was well manicured, extremely clean and very safe. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend the Scottsdale Resort and Villas.

The woman who checked us in was from WI (just like us), and she was just what we needed as we arrived later than expected. All the staff was helpful and very friendly. The pool areas were relaxing, and we enjoyed the pool side service as well. Rooms were a bit older but could tell some updates were made. Beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed getting up early for a walk around the grounds. Close to so much - would definitely recommend to others.

Expedia posts really good photos, good location in Scottsdale. Rooms are like Motels and dated. Pool bar has no waitress you have to walk up to bar every time you want a drink. There is a resort fee per day not sure why they are charging when there are no real amenities.
