From the front desk staff to the bartenders to the wait staff at the restaurant, we were delighted by how we were treated. Everyone was nice and accomodating. Food was fantastic and drinks were equally terrific. Will definitely be back!

I was expecting to be "nickel and dimed" after reading the Orbitz information sheet. I expected to be charged for early arrival (check in), having arrived 4 hours early- but the front desk receptionist was more than happy to allow us into a room that was ready. I expected a charge for use of the in-room refrigerator, but there was none. This is a pleasant resort with many conferences and weddings. Our weekend, unfortunately, was one of rain and chilly temperatures, so we couldn't really use any outdoor facilities. The work out room was above average with LifeFitness equipment and aerobic machines. The spa was spartan. The biggest negatives are the lack of a hot tub - neither in the locker rooms nor outside. The rooms are poorly sound-proofed and I was up to 2:30 AM because of neighboring guests' conversations and laughter.

It's nice to go somewhere very nice that looks fancy, but not incredibly formal. The staff is so nice, across the board. The room we stayed in was very quiet and comfortable. Pool area is nice. Only explored a little, but seems like a great place for an event as well.

Very friendly staff, clean hotel, good location and everything you need is here.

Our stay at the Scottsdale at McCormick exceeded my expectations. I booked a 3 night stay for myself, my husband and another Couple. We were warmly greeted, promptly checked in, and given 2 side by side rooms. Even though we arrived at 10 a.m. our beautiful rooms were ready. We immediately changed and headed to the pool. The pool was perfect, and we spent our day relaxing, having drinks, some snacks and soaking up the Arizona sun. We enjoyed breakfast in 2 different dining rooms, one dinner at the hotel, and a massage in the Luna Spa. All in all, this was a fine representation of the Southwest we had hoped for.

We had a truly remarkable stay at this resort. The staff went out of their way to meet our needs.

Everything was wonderful during my stay. The grounds were clean and the staff was very friendly.

Flew into Phoenix on the way to Sedona and by chance chose Scottsdale to stay a couple nights. Great choice--the area is beautiful! The hotel is clean, bed is comfortable and it has the southwestern character you'd expect. Friendly staff and fabulous pool for lazy afternoon. Close to good restaurants.

The whole experience was lovely! The entire staff and their friendliness was outstanding! The pool area was very nice and comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast buffet was delicious! I will definitely go back!!! It was a perfect get away and just what I needed!

After almost 24 hours of traveling and being awake we couldn't wait to check in and take a nap. On arrival at 3:30 (3:00 check in time) we were told our room had not yet been cleaned and we would have to wait. Very bad first impression. Several excuses (100 percent capacity, etc.) were given. A phone call was promised when the room was ready. After an hour and no phone call we went back and it still wasn't ready despite being told we were a top priority. The registration clerk then changed us to another room (I think he felt sorry for us.) On our last day we went out to breakfast and left a tip for housekeeping in the room. We returned a little later and the tip was gone but the room wasn't cleaned. I called the front desk and was told the manager and hotel security would come to our room immediately. After twenty minutes we had to leave. We met an employee outside the room who said he was a security supervisor. We told him what happened and he promised a full investigation. We never saw or heard from him again, nor did we ever hear from the manager. As I work in law enforcement I knew it was a simple task to check the key-less entry log to see who had entered the room while we were out. We left that night and I doubt I would go back.

Bought as part of a package, grounds are beautiful, staff was nice, room was a bit dated but very clean.

Nice place, older hotel, waitress at dinner was not very good

We upgraded to this hotel early on in our vacation because we wanted more of a vacation feel and this resort delivers that feeling. However, if you are going to choose this resort make sure you select an upgraded room and account for that fact if price is a consideration. The initial room we were in (Stillman king) was very small...in fact the room wasn't much bigger than the king size bed in it. Upon seeing the Stillman King we approached the front desk to inquire about other options. The upgraded room was much larger and more comfortable and included a view of the pool area. I am not trying to dissuade anyone from staying here, I am simply trying to help other travelers get the best stay possible if selecting this resort. The grounds are excellent and the staff was absolutely great. I would definitely stay here again.

Had we known that the hotel was under construction, we would not have stayed there. Had we known that there were three Scottsdale resorts, we would not chosen the conference one- for a once a year mother daughter trip. It was not a very special rate. It was expensive for what we got. Had we known that it was so far out, we should have rented a car, even to get to a Starbucks . We spent a fortune on uber, $230.00 for four days. Very disappointed. Have to wait a year for another trip, with my girls. I tried to be candid and not harsh.

Great hotel in great location, the price was absolutely reasonable. Will definitely stay there again

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at Scottsdale Resort. For the value it's hard to beat. Wasn't crazy about the dark decor but that's just nitpicking. The staff was very helpful and the grounds were beautiful. Overall I had a great experience there and would go back in a minute. Highly recommended place for the money.

Great place with a great location, highly recommend.

This was a very nice hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly

Very clean, appropriately decorated and comfortable rooms. Quiet, no noise, beautiful common areas and pool area. Close to scottsdale old town and north scottsdale shopping as well

Everything convenient, hotel nice, very friendly staff
