Kitchen was overtaken with ANTS. Could not set food or glass of soda on the counter. Discovered this after ants swarmed our sodas and room service food within seconds. Was a waist of $60 in room service food. Filthy floors and carpet. Bathroom cabinets old and grungy dirty. Dirty old blinds and curtains. Room service food was pretty bad. Waist of money. I didn’t complain during my 2 day stay because the inconvenience to rectify would ruin my weekend get away as well. Told the front desk when checking out and the response was “I’m sorry, we will let cleaning staff know”.

We only stayed one night and were glad we were not staying for an extended time! The place was clean, the staff courteous. The grounds are beautiful, the pool area and the café were great and the service at the café was excellent. We are not a fan of the open loft concept and it was very uncomfortable to sleep there. They lock the air at 72, and during that day it is fine, but it is very close and stuffy for sleeping. They have overhead fans which is a plus, but it is too warm. We were all very uncomfortable during the night and did not wake up feeling refreshed. I would give the resort a 5+ star if the sleeping was more comfortable. Doctor’s recommend you sleep in a room that is 60 to 65° for optimal, comfort and sleep. I was traveling with two women for a girls trip and there is no way we could’ve spent a week there. I do thank them for their great customer service and cleanliness of the entire resort.

Musky and dusty. A lot of carpet and drapes in a big room, but wonder when they last steam cleaned any of it. 10 AM checkout was a little early, but staff was very nice. The shower is weird: rainfall shower head over the soaking tub.

The pool area was great and very clean and also not overcrowded. Parking was easy very close to our room. Dislikes as we were in the corner of two busy intersections so we heard loud obnoxious traffic in the middle of the night. Not the resort’s fault. Food was great, drinks were a fair price for a resort. However, the lady bartender was extremely slow and unprepared on Saturday. The evening bartender on Saturday was great. The male bartender on Thursday and Friday was excellent as well. Front desk was very polite and helpful. Brought towels to our villa within five minutes of asking, which was exceptional service. I will definitely recommend this resort to others and most likely stay there again myself.
