Connect with your family in this newly-remodeled, inviting home in the heart of Downtown Gilbert. Set on a large lot, this house is the perfect home away from home, inside and out. It features 4 private bedrooms, 2 sparkling bathrooms, a game room, living room, dining room, and a beautifully remodeled kitchen at the center of it all. Step outside to grill by the heated pool, relax around the campfire, and play games in the large backyard. The Harvard House has all the space you need!

Backyard – Recharge in the sparkling pool, which is the heart of this amazing, private backyard. We also have a patio with a dining table and grill, a fire pit area with comfy Adirondack chairs underneath tall pine trees, and plenty of grassy areas to run and play with family.

Pool - The pool can be heated between October - May. It is an additional fee of $40/night or $200/week (5-7 nights). Please verify that this amenity is available before booking.

Kitchen – Fully stocked with everything you need such as pots/pans, bakeware, and dinnerware for 8. Small appliances include CrockPot, blender, toaster, hand mixer, and coffeemakers (standard and Keurig).

Bedrooms – One king, two queens, and two twin beds with soft, luxurious linens and pillows, plus a portable crib. With the addition of the couches, we can accommodate 10 guests.

Bathrooms – Master bath has walk-in shower, second bath has tub/shower combo, and both are stocked with plush, luxurious towels. We also provide Q-tips, cotton balls, shampoo, and a hair dryer.

Technology – We offer free wi-fi and TV’s in all bedrooms and both living spaces. All of our TVs have Smart capabilities (ROKU) so you can access your favorite programs on Netflix, Prime, etc. We also have a Bluetooth speaker in the living area so you can enjoy your favorite vacation playlists.

Kid/Family Friendly - We love to be the gathering place for families. It’s easy to connect at the Harvard House by playing board games, yard games, or making S’mores by the fire. The house is open and spacious enough for everyone to be together and the backyard is a family's dreamland. For babies we have a portable crib, stroller, high chair, and doors to the backyard/pool have high locks.

**We have added a few fun extras to our garage space and think you'll love hanging out there! Drinks are on us ;)**

Good location, needs some TLC

To start with the positives, we were looking for a place close to a downtown that had good activities for the kids. This home met those criteria. The interior was comfortable and had a lot of great games which the kids really enjoyed. The pool was clean and warm (we paid for the heating). We noticed one day the pool vacuum wasn't working and the water didn't appear to be circulating, the owner had a repair person out same day to fix the issue which was awesome. There was a park walking distance from the home and driving to downtown Gilbert took a matter of minutes. The downtown is very family friendly and we enjoyed going out each night.The negatives; the only smoke detector in the house had been removed and placed in the hallway closet, I'm not sure if that was the prior renter but we didn't notice this until we were leaving and that was a concerning life-safety issue. The outdoor space was just uncomfortable and dirty. The exterior area needs some TLC and that is easy to remedy, one of the lounge chairs was cracked so only the littlest kids could use it with a towel so they weren't pinched, the patio chairs were uncomfortable to sit in, the patio table was dirty from prior use, the garden hose was just left if a pile, many of the outside game toys were broken or dirty. All and all, we enjoyed are stay here, the issues we found are easy to fix.

Our kids loved the pool, games, skeet ball, ping pong, air hockey, and each having their own bedroom. It was amazing to have a washer and a dryer!! Very quiet and safe neighborhood. The kitchen was great, towels, and all the board games. Thank you so much!

Home away from paradise while in Arizona

The family came to Arizona for a graduation of a family member and had a great time at the house! The game room definitely made it fun and the pool kept us cool in Arizona's hot weather! The property was spacious and had everything needed! The refrigerator with the drinks was unexpected and a nice surprise! Would definitely stay here again! Being from Hawaii and we eat a lot of rice a rice cooker would have been amazing! Lol! But not a deal breaker! (Hint) would definitely want to stay there again while in Arizona!🤙👍💯

We had six adults and two children and this was a perfect place for our stay. It was so nice to have the pool right outside the back door and a place to just be for meals and to hang out together. The property owner was very helpful and responsive, and the property itself was cute and clean. Would definitely stay here again!

I traveled with a total of 5 other adults and two 6 yr old boys. The house comfortably fit all of us. The kitchen and bathrooms were beyond well stocked. Probably the best stocked house I have ever rented. The kids went crazy for the garage game room. Seriously the coolest feature for young boys who are not allowed video games at home. The outdoor area/pool were amazing, and where we spent most of our time. Pool heater was amazing and plenty of outdoor seating for lounging and dining. We biked and walked to town (adults only). Loved how close it was. Mesa attractions were a short 10-15 min drive and we could be to great hiking trails in less than 30 mins. I only needed to contact owners twice and it was nothing big (minor questions, not because there was an issue with the house) and received an immediate response.

Great family place for adults and children 2+

We rented for one month, this was a great location being close to shopping, children's parks and great food. We are bike riders so enjoyed riding along the canals in every direction. The house has many games such as Foos ball, shuffle board, air hockey, ping pong, etc. We were able to enjoy the swimming pool when the weather cooperated. The property manager was available for any problems or questions.

Family Celebration

We were in town for a family celebration. After looking at many properties this home was just what we were looking for. The communication prior to our visit with Amy and Spencer was great. They answered all of my tedious questions. There were plenty of pool towels as well as bath towels. So much kitchen pans, pots, bowls etc. We opted to cook/BBQ most nights because we spent more time together. The beds were super comfy. The place was very clean, neat and updated. There were board games in the closet to play as well. It was located next to so many places, stores, restaurants and town. I will definitely be staying here again!

Perfect location, adorable house, super cozy

This house was the perfect oasis getaway for our group of friends. It is an adorable home, very nicely decorated with updated modern kitchen, comfortable sectional, large dining table and all the conveniences of home such as washer/dryer, laundry, super comfy beds, the BEST fluffy, plush bath towels, pool towels. The home is well cared for, the pool guy was there before we arrived, and the lawn company came to mow while we were there as well. The home was extremely clean, free from any weird smells, and was very welcoming. There was a nice notebook on the counter with instructions for the home and suggestions on area eats and entertainment, which I thought was a nice touch. Everything you need to relax is right there including the pool with floaties, yard games, fire pit, ping pong table, foose ball, shuffle board, scramble, board games, video games, tvs in every room, pedal bikes. Very little reason to leave, so we rarely did during our stay. We did pay to have the pool heated and the temp was just right. Not too warm, but cool enough to be refreshing. The backyard is where we spent most of our time, plenty of lounge chairs, a shaded picnic table and patio space. There are trees to provide shade and beautiful floral bushes around. The owners are extremely responsive and were quick to answer any questions we had, offer assistance if needed, etc. They live close by and offered to come by if we were to need anything. When we arrived, we found a small cooler fridge in the garage full of sodas, Power Aid and water. I messaged the owners who informed us the refreshments were for us to enjoy, which was such a nice surprise! The location of the home is absolutely wonderful. It's in a quite neighborhood of modest homes. Not the newest, but not the oldest. It is in a cul-de-sac which was nice as there was little to no traffic around the home. The downtown heritage district is only a couple miles away and offers a ton of restaurants and nightlife. We used an Uber to go to the brewery downtown, enjoyed some live music at Whiskey Row and hit up the Mexican restaurant and ice cream shop another night. We also Ubered to Camel Back Mountain to hike, which was a bit longer drive, but worth the trip. Overall, we spent most of our 4 day vacation lounging by the pool, enjoying the amazing weather and comfort of the home while catching up with friends. We did meet the neighbor next door who was very very nice. All in all I would recommend

Fantastic vacation home

This rental was exceptionally clean. There was so much to do to keep our family occupied. Tons of games to play and the pool was very clean. There is also an outdoor play set for kids. The rental is very close to downtown Gilbert. We were very happy with our decision to go with this vacation rental.

Cannot say enough good things about this house. It’s beautiful, fun, relaxing, and clean! We stayed for 6 days and did not want to leave. The location is perfect there are so many stores and restaurants no more than 10 minutes away and there isn’t too much traffic so it’s all easy driving around the area. We stocked up at Costco and cooked most of our meals. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking equipment you could need. There is a closet full of board games on top of all the other activities that are pictured so there was never a moment where we were bored. The hosts, Amy and Spencer, were awesome and always responded right away any time we had a question. They even offered to come and clean the pool after a random wind storm on our first night. If we ever come back to Gilbert we will book the Harvard House.

5 Star Family Retreat

This home was the perfect getaway for our family. So many little details made it both loads of fun and extremely comfortable. When we weren't floating in the pool or just relaxing in the backyard listening to the birds sing, there were SO MANY other things to enjoy. Inside, the foosball and shuffleboard tables were always a hit. We had an ongoing scrabble game on the wall in the front room. The ping pong table in the garage and giant chess set out back were fun (we also played checkers by only using the pawns). The fire pit under the pine trees was such a cozy way to top off our days in the sunshine, either just sitting and chatting around the fire or making s'mores. Despite all these incredible options, our favorite amenity by far were the bicycles. Whether for a quick trip to the store, or to explore the beautiful neighborhoods, those bikes got the most use of anything at the house! The surrounding area is so charming; we often returned with our baskets full of the free lemons, oranges & grapefruit offered in front of various houses. We found parks, duck ponds, friendly horses and mules, coffee shops and paths along the canal. Honestly, every vacation rental should come with bikes! The bedrooms were very comfortable. The phrase "I slept SO GOOD!" became the standard morning mantra amongst our family of 5. Each room was tastefully decorated, with soft sheets, comfy beds, and plenty of blankets. The bathrooms were pristine and the towels were so soft I took a photo of the tags so I can buy some when I get home! The kitchen is newly remodeled and well appointed. We cooked dinner every night and even made a big Thanksgiving style meal and were able to find everything we needed to cook a turkey with all the sides! Above all, Spencer was the most responsive, kind, hospitable host we've ever had at any vacation property. EVER. A lot of homeowners are hiring management companies to handle their rental properties but there is nothing like dealing directly with the owner. If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable, fun, relaxing getaway for your family or group of friends, don't pass this place up. Thanks very much for everything, Spencer, and also to your wife, who has done a wonderful job adding such special, warm touches throughout the house. We wish you nothing but the best. and will always have a very special place in our hearts for your Gilbert home.

What comfort !

The owners have really gone all-out to make this a comfortable, entertaining, welcoming vacation home for several people. We spent days at the SpringTraining Ball Games (Go A's!), then came home and relaxed in the huge family room. There's a great long sofa in the dining/family room and a huge television! A fun PopcornBowl set is waiting for sharing! Everything so clean and fresh, with a Welcome Basket of goodies with bottled water to take on a bike ride. Yes! three bikes and two scooters. The GameRoom had its own television plus Foosball and another table game I don't know the name of, but easy, yet challenging to play! Each bedroom has its own television for down time, if someone REALLY wanted to be solo, plus good lighting for reading. I liked the trundle-bed idea in the kids' room. It uses less floor space, yet parents don't have to be concerned so much about falls from the top of a typical bunkbed. Looks like Amy really had fun with the interior decorating. (Spencer said it's all Amy's selections). It's so homey and fresh! We didn't use the pool nor outdoor giant chess set, though they are inviting, too ! The home is in a single-family home neighborhood, so it's quiet. And, ALWAYS IMPORTANT to me, is that Spencer was so responsive to my inquiries . I highly recommend a stay here, and will come again if occasion arises!...mm
