This is your typical average hotel. It's definitely been through some rough days, I'd love to know the potential stories that have come out of here. In general, it's located in a little out of he way for any major needs. There is a Fry's within walking distance and a good Asian restaurant is on the property. Not the best fitness room but the pool area seems well maintained. My room did have a bit of a skunky smell, so it needs some serious fumigation. It's what you get for a bargain, so don't expect major services, etc.

This property is misrepresented online. We actually did not stay - checked in, came to the room to rest. The bedsheets had stains, pillowcases were supposed to be white but they were an off white yellow color, as if it hasn’t seen bleach for a while. There were tiny speckles on bedsheets, not sure if they were bed bugs or dirt. There was a spider that landed on the other bed. The bathroom door lock did not work well. The safe was in the room but was not able to lock, according to front desk, “we don’t provide this service anymore because most don’t work well anyway”. The area was not well lit in the evening and did not appear 100% safe to leave our belongings. There was a strong smell of marijuana in the air on the property grounds, it was nauseating to remain in that environment. We ended up going to dinner and decided not to stay the night and checked out a few hours after we checked in and booked a property a few minutes away that was much better. The front desk person was friendly but not helpful with addressing anything as he was “just an employee and not property manager”. There was a working TV there was an outdoor pool but we did not use it.

Noah (Hotel Manager) is awesome. Very attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction each time we have stayed there. If you can afford the Phoenician, then by all means but until then, SPR is a value bargain. Will stay here again!

You Get what you pay for

It wasn’t what I expected but it was a you get what you pay for type of room . It was similar to a motel 6 set up. I made the best of it but don’t think I will book in the future. It was clean for the most part and quiet.
