The location is great, staff was great, however the renovations to the room (at least ours) incomplete. Poor attention to finishes. There were outlets not functional, fridge not functional, safe not functional, data port hanging out of wall, painters tape still on fire sprinkler, drywall mud on light switches, etc. The bathroom desperately needs ventilation one time set off the smoke alarm taking a shower. The toilet also had a really weak flush to it. I must say though that the water pressure and hot water were excellent.

Great stay, great staff. Very comfortable accommodations, excellent location. Staff was friendly!

Adequate hotel, lovely staff, but little character or warmth. Felt like staying in an empty office building.

A well appointed, spacious, clean, and comfortable room. Friendly and cheerful staff. Rooms are starting to show some signs of wear.

The hotel is very well located in downtown Washington, close to the Georgetown University Law Center, Capitol Hill and Union Station (with a Washington Metro station as well). The room was well appointed with a comfortable bed and pillows. The restaurant food is very good with attentive service. In general prices are comparable to larger chain hotels nearby, such as the Hyatt. However, beware: wi-if access is subject to a significant charge in the rooms (although complimentary in the lobby.). I have spent about 40 nights in comparable hotels during 2016 and this is the first one that charged for wi-if access, an unpleasant surprise.

Close to union station and the national mall, clean and vey friendly staff

The room has no safe inside. After entering my room under false pretenses, management permitted a staff member to search my bags while we were out sight seeing (which is illegal); employee stole two watches and $500 in petty cash. Also, the complimentary refrigerator was dirty and had blood inside.

Decided to take a last minute trip because my 9 year old son was asking to see the White House and Washington Monument. While on the road I booked this hotel and had no problems while checking in. The inside of the hotel was very nice. The room could have been a little bit cleaner. There was dust on some of the appliances and hair on the toilet seat. I only had to interact with the hotel staff to check in and check out. The man that I checked in with was very nice. The only thiyI didn't like was the cleaning staff knocking on the door around 8 am when checkout is at noon. I went on a Sunday and found parking right on front of the hotel. There is a lot of metered parking in the area and the hotel is no more than a 10 minute drive to everything. I would stay here again if ever I decided to visit the area.

This was a nice hotel with a perfect location. Simon checked us in and being a platinum member he gave us a room upgrade and free internet. It was a wonderful spacious suite with a view of the capital. He was very welcoming and helpful. We also enjoyed our interactions with the valet staff. Each person we met went out of their way to make us feel important. I will definitely return.

The lobby area and the staff were nice. I didn't eat at the restaurant but heard it was a little pricey for breakfast. Our room was a little smelly, probably because it faced a lower roof deck and the slider didn't shut completely. There is no pool, which would have been great on a hot DC weekend

We made a reservation though Orbitz after our flight out of DC was cancelled, arriving at the hotel at close to 11 PM, exhausted. Although we had copies of our confirmation and a receipt for payment, the hotel refused to give us our room. Seems that there was a mixup between Orbitz and the hotel. Instead of giving us the room, they made us wait for 45 minutes while the straightened out the billing. As a result we lost an hour of sleep before our early train in the morning. NO first class hotel should behave this way. They should have given us our room key once they saw the Orbitz paper work and receipt, and then worked out the mixup between themselves and Orbitz, which was not our responsibility. Orbitz was their accepted agent, and they should never have done this to guests who had paid for a room in good faith,.

The hotel was exactly what I expected but the FEES are outrageous. I was afraid to breathe. There is a $75 deposit 'in case' you use the wifi, order TV, use other 'incidentals'. There is a charge for each incidental AS WELL AS the $75 deposit in case you use them. When I asked about it the front desk basically said that too many people say they won't use it then do. So instead of charging the $10.99 for wifi or cost of your movie, they ALSO charge you $75 for using the service, then charge for the service. And parking is $46. JUST INCLUDE THESE IN YOUR PRICE PLEASE!!!!! Would not stay again due to the fees. Also, the staff was generally grumpy, impatient, or hungry for tips except for one nice man at the check out.

Checked in at 3pm. Got the key, went upstairs and my room was not cleaned. 30 minutes later and one $8 beer I got a new room. No in room refrigerator. Checked out and was double billed for parking. Anyone read the bill before slipping it under my door in the morning? Convenient location nice door and parking attendants.

This is a very clean hotel in a convenient location right near Union Station. They appear to have a policy that you cannot check in before 4. The staff told me no rooms were ready and they would call me when one was. I had to hang out in the lobby. I had just spent 6 hours in a train so sitting in a lobby was not what I wanted to do. It was 300 when I got there. I asked again in 30 minutes and still no. When I asked at 345 saying I need to get ready I need to be somewhere and there has to be one room in the hotel that is ready they finally let me check in. They also close their lobby bar at about 11.

Super convenient and very friendly. I was sick when I arrived, and they took good care of me.

A lot better than expected. Would def stay here again. And pet friendly.

Stayed one night, had a very nice room, we did not use the WiFi or other amenities, close to Fords Theatre, I would recommend this hotel
