The whole staff, especially the Manager, Mike Wilson, went above and beyond to make sure we were all happy. And the facilities were wonderful, especially the M lounge for Marriott members.

The hotel room was recently redecorated and was wonderful. Jane was the person who I dealt with at the front desk and she was kind enough to find me a room before check in and to make sure I was in a room that would not be bothered by the construction outside ( it started early in the morning). She was a pleasure to deal with. I had a nice meal from the hotel dining room as well.

The staff and location is great the price is fair. The hotel is going through renovations and I am confident the outcome will make this my go to place in DC.

Close to everywhere I needed to be and friendly, helpful staff.

This hotel requires finding parking. There is a valet and will park the car for you overnight for a fee. Kind of pricey. Internet is available at the hotel lobby area. I think there was an extra fee to have this available in your room. There is ample places to work with your device in the lobby and eating area so no worries. I really liked the designer rooms and they actually sell these pieces in a catalogue. Walking distance to GW U and we took the car to Georgetown and found parking on the street. Nice family vacation just visiting the area colleges. A tour bus also runs along in front of the hotel if interested in spending more time in the city. I think we made the right choice.

It was a great hotel , just hated that it costed $45 per night to park. Also the indoor pool was closed, and I called ahead before I booked the hotel to see if it was available and they told me it was, and my family and I really wanted to go swimming.

Could a mile or two to most of the museums and landmarks (or take cheap cabs). Customer service/staff were wonderful. Only complaint is poor water pressure in the shower. Hotel is clean.

I would say you get what you pay for at this hotel. Nothing fancy, nothing glamorous, simple rooms (oddly placed TVs, not in front of the bed but to the side) Nice soap and shampoo Good breakfast. Don't miss the very nice crisp and freshly made breakfast waffles!! Hotel says it has a sauna but it's actually shut down and just a storage space for the pool cleaning supplies now. Jacuzzi and pool water is a bit slimy but acceptable to bathe in.

My Family and I had the best time. We have 6 kids (16-2). The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the location was perfect. The staff was very nice and friendly. Your 10 blocks from amazing monuments and 3 blocks from the Metro"which was great and easy to use". 2 little complaints: the pool was ice cold and it took a day to wait for a rollaway bed...so if you need one of those ask for it right away. Thank you Marriot for a great stay and a perfect and safe location!

The hotel is located in a very good area with sky high buildings and restourants, it is about 8-10 minuts ride from the White House. Some stuff was great , very helpful, the guy on the front desk was careless though. The room was comfortable, but the view was not, windows faced the backyard with construction works. The electronics and gadgets were outdated. The inside of the hotel looked very old. The pool and the jacuzzi were fun for the child. The single thing I did not like the most: the restaurant inside the hotel closed at 11pm , no room service and there were no eating establishments around the area that were open after 11pm. besides McDonalds. There was Wallgreens on the corner, so we bought some snack there. Next time I will stay at another hotel.

This hotel was booked through orbiz and it was a disappointment. We had 2 adults and 1 child over 14 confirmed for the room. When we arrived in the room there was only a king size bed!! The hotel's only accomidation to help was a springy cot!! Which ofcourse the room didn't have the space to fit this, so we had almost no space the entire weekend. The hotel management didn't seem concerned in anyway. Also management did blame booking it through orbtiz!. But as i indicated we book the room for 2 adults and 1 child over 14 !!!!

I was double billed for the room - once by on my credit card by the booking agency - the 2nd time by the hotel on my bank card - not a very efficient system ---- now I will have to spend time correcting ---- not something I wanted to spend my time on ----- not at all satisfactory

everyone was so sweet. the place could use some more elevators.

Had a good experience at this hotel and really liked the location in relationship to restaurants and metro for travel. The value was excellent! Thought street noise was a bit loud, especially since there's construction going on across the street. I would recommend staying higher up in the hotel above the 4th floor for noise reduction. I will plan to stay again here.

All staff were perfect I have traveled all over the world and there is none like them. I felt as if I were home. Please commend the staff for geuinely knowing how to accept guest.

I travel to DC for business on a regular basis and among the hotels I have stayed in, I find this one reasonably well located and well maintained. I got a room in their business wing so it was a bit extra comfy and the staff we cordial. Since the internet is not included which is a bit of a downer since every hotel these days includes wifi in their room rate, but on the other hand the hotel has a complimentary laundry onsite which was a life saver for me (there was an emergency). Pretty satified with my stay overall.

This hotel is a very nice hotel located in the West End area of DC. It's about 1/2 mile walk to Dupont Circle, which has a metro station and several nice restaurants. There is also a Walgreens drug store right next to the hotel. There was a construction happening across the street, but didn't really cause us problems. The staff was very nice and always willing to help. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice staff, nice pool for kids, good location. About .5 mile pleasant walk from Dupont Circle for Metro or dinning, or a .3 equally pleasant walk to Foggy Bottom Metro. The Walgreen's next door is open 24/7, very convenient.

This was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Great staff and wonderful accomodations. If I could add anything at all it would be a more reasonable priced breakfast or a free continental breakfast. But overall, great place to stay and if we go back to DC we will definately stay here again!

This was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. I've been all around and have never been treated better in my life. I would recommend the Washington Marriott to everyone at any time. The entire staff was and is exceptional!
