$40 PER DAY additional for parking to stay is excessive, entrance and exit from Garage was a hassle during our stay and I was certainly unappreciative of housekeeping entering my room while I was in the bathroom. Amenities provided on day two were not provided day one. Finally, hotel walls are thin. You hear EVERYTHING from your neighboring guest, so much in fact one night I knocked on the wall for them to stop. My daughter didn't need to hear that. I understand now why hotel staff offer you the opportunity to book a stay a year in advance for a small fee/at a discount immediately after check in and PRIOR to officially seeing your room or your experience. Traveling people are tired and don't want to hear a sales pitch upon arrival, or every time that same persons sees them in the lobby.

Pros-great central location, lots of amenities, big rooms, comfortable bed, nice staff. Cons-expensive WiFi-12.95 daily. The towels in the bathroom smelled like they were dried but not washed in detergent; most smelled like coffee and sweat. The hotel is very noisy and every night I heard loud bangs and clanging-I think I was near a service room. The shower head was stuck pointed at the wall making it hard to shower and when I asked to get it looked at, it never was. The room was VERY dark and poorly lit.

Our room was quiet and comfortable. The in room coffee is excellent!

Stayed 5 nights with my family. The variety at breakfast was plentiful & appertising - the breakfast ladies were friendly & helpful always greeting us with smiles. Would love to have experienced the pool but maybe another time - we would definitely stay again. We loved the busy buzz of the hotel, which was also close to Dupont circle metro - wonderful.

Nice enough hotel, pretty clean. The hotel tried to charge double for parking, and did not apologize when I asked them to fix it.

The hotel is very dated no wifi in rooms The breakfast in the restaurant was awful and at 60 bucks for two a real rip off. We stayed on third floor and when we arrived the hall ways nearing our room had the awfullest sewer smell. Idk what was going on the def have issues on that floor

Marvyn from the Bellboy department was extremely helpful and professional, upon the arrival he was there to help us with everything we needed and with his help we got the room ready in a short time instead of the time that the receptionist told us. The rooms are comfortable specially the beds, you feel rested the next day, the housekeeping department are neat and leave everything spotless.

Room very small and extremely noisy. You can hear everybody in the rooms and bathrooms around and up, same for the corridors. A/C super noisy, maids and maintenance also, in the morning. A place where you can barely sleep.

The bed and other room furniture were unusually comfortable for a hotel room. I had a view that overlooked Connecticut Avenue and enjoyed watching the bicyclists fly by on their way to work each morning. I come to DC often and this hotel is a favorite!

Had to change rooms twice but the staff was very accommodating. Had an AC problem but the maintenance team was great and got us a room change that was very smooth.

Good experience. Very good staff and Hotel was in excellent condition & very clean.

Check in was very smooth. Staff was very nice. When I got to my room, it smelled really bad and the toilet didn't work. Once I made a call it took half hour to get a different room. Much better room. But just too small for two beds. Location was good. Pool was clean, lobby was beautiful, and food was delicious. I had a problem with the valet parking staff, I was changed twice and the staff couldn't resolved the problem because the manager was not there. Andre was nice but the other guy, Kenny was rude. I never received my money back.

Beds and pillows not comfortable 50.00 A NIGHT extra to park in hotel garage Could not find our reservation for second night Which was paid for thru orbitz. Internet service horrible and next to impossible to connect. Staff very friendly

My room was excellent. It was clean, in excellent repair, beautifully built with excellent craftmanship, and had all of the convenient electrical outlets necessary to charge the electronics used in our modern, connected life. The lobby floor is under renovation. The lobby and the bar/restaurant are open. I expect that the renovations will be complete by Spring 2017. In the meantime, enjoy discounted room rates!

I stay in this hotel often and am always pleased. This past visit I was pleasantly surprised to learn that there was a black tie event occurring on the lower level and Buzz Aldrin was the guest of honor. I missed my hero but met many interesting people at the after party.

I booked at a very good price. At the hotel I received an upgrade. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. Location is great, there are plenty of places to eat nearby.to fit every budget. Internet service is not optimal

Great Hotel, the staff was superb, Would come back any time...in fact am looking if I am back to stay at this Hotel....Nothing but superb everything

I moved from the another hotel when they didn't have enough rooms and the price was higher than what I booked online. The service at the Hilton was top notch. Always someone to help, never a wait in line, very friendly and personable. Will choose this hotel the next time I am in town. My only recommendation is that while the exercise room was well equipped, it was a little cramped.

Not a good location, and the hills are surprising for DC.

I have stayed in several such hotels around the world but nothing like this which has the worst professional service. In such hotels wifi is free but here one has to pay for it. No complimentary shuttle service to/from airport. Not only this they charge your credit card for $50/day for whatever reason. It's only refunded only after 5/10 days. I felt the hotel is making out of its clients. Tea bags are not refilled in room.
