The area is convenient to the National Mall, the Wharf, and obviously the Spy Museum.

So close to Washington Mall I would like to have maid service once in a 4 day stay instead all we got was more towels

Excellent Customer service and staff friendliness .

When making our reservation we needed a room with two beds as we’re traveling with our 3 year old nephew. When checking in we were told that they were out of two bed rooms but could upgrade us to one with a king bed. I was assured that there was a couch in the room that the toddler could sleep on. Getting to the room the couch ended up being a chair but short of staying at another hotel it didn’t seem like we had many other room options at the Hilton. It’s a good thing we weren’t traveling as a group of 4 people! Staff was friendly, valet was nice. Location is perfect!

Expensive price. No restaurant, no bar, no water in the room, cold bare floors, construction workers looking in our window. Good thing I brought protein bars or we would have starved. We were planning on staying a second day but we just went home.

I booked this hotel with free valet parking included. I arrive to the hotel and the Valet attendant goes over the daily fees with me. I explained to him that our reservation included free valet and he still kept telling me it wouldn’t be free and that it would $23/day. I went to check-in and confirmed that I did have free valet included. The gentleman at the front desk told me to just let Valet know I had it included in my reservation. Once again, I let the Valet attendant know and he still argued with me. I had him go confirm with the front desk and indeed it was confirmed. An apology was not given. Our bed sheets had some sort of stain which seemed like a drop of old blood. When checking out, another gentleman at the front desk went over the bill for valet parking. I had to give him the same information and had to forward him an email of my reservation. Very frustrating since I had to keep my card on file and knowing their lack of communication, I could’ve been charged even after being The stay was just “ok” in my opinion and wouldn’t go back.

After waiting for 4 hours to be able to our room, my family and I were placed on a room that falls incredibly below Hilton standards. (and certainly not what we had paid for). Although I had already paid for my stay and spoke a number of times with the front desk and three managers about the check-in, room condition (which I was able to change but unable to get a room with city view as I had paid and requested for), at checkout I was charged again for the stay. I’m extremely disappointed with the miscommunication between RBC Rewards and Hilton (including Hilton staff as it seems no one I spoke with added a note to my file with respect to what had happened to the guest). Despite communicating my concerns several times to Hilton staff, I also experienced a very poor and frustrating checkout. What was supposed to be a relaxing and happy long weekend with my family, turned out to be a nightmare. I would expect not only an apology but full reimbursement for my stay.
