We had a great stay at Hotel Hive. The room while small had everything that we needed and it was spotless! Our favorite part though was the staff!! They were friendly, fun and very accommodating. All were gems!

The room was very comfortable (despite being on the lowest floor, don't expect any views at all), staff extremely friendly and the roof top bar is a highlight this close to the Lincoln Memorial (despite prices being high). I booked a Buzz room but did not notice any noise at all despite being warned this was possible, the rooms are marketed as small but are perfectly adequate especially by EU standards. Overall, a great place to base your visit of DC out of, helpful staff and a great little set of features/amenities to enjoy while you're there.

El personal del hotel es muy amable y simpático. Dentro del hotel venden pizzas a muy buen precio y buena variedad. La instalación está muy limpia y ordenada. La única queja que tengo es que la cama al tener estructura metálica hace DEMASIADO ruido y es incómodo durante la noche. El resto es muy bueno, la habitación chica pero cómoda.

This has become one of my go-to places whenever I stay in DC. It’s centrally located in the Foggy Bottom neighborhood, which is quaint and convenient, with easy access to the Metro. It offers clean, modern, minimalist rooms, even if they’re on the smaller, micro-hotel side. I’ve stayed in larger hotels in DC, but for the value, this remains one of the best options. I’ve tried both the Buzz and Hive room types and the noise levels are similar, with the main difference being room location and windows.

Another good stay at the Hive. Prices were more expensive at all the hotels because of GW family weekend (why we stayed) and a marathon. Staff is wonderful, location is very convenient, and price is fair given the location and timing. Room this time was teeny tiny in contrast to a larger one a few weeks back - literally a bed, bathroom (sink in bedroom) and tiny TV... and given the price (again, higher than normal) I wish we could have had better, but this *is* a micro hotel and it was a convenient location and, given prices for the weekend in larger hotels, the right option.

The room was so nice and clean. We booked an accessible room and me husband was easily able to get around in his wheel chair in the room and bathroom. The staff wentout of our way to make us comfortable. The roof top bar was an added bonus! The only negative is we booked house keeping and they did not come. Everything else was absolutely perfect.

Hotel Hive was perfect for a short stay in Washington, D.C. to see the tourist sites and monuments. We stayed in a Queen Bed (Hive) room, which was just the right size for two people—clean, comfortable, and with a surprisingly spacious bathroom. Despite being in a lively area, we didn’t have any noise issues at all and slept really well. The location couldn’t have been better. The staff were fantastic—really friendly and helpful when we arrived, and they gave us great directions to Georgetown, which is full of excellent restaurants and bars. The hotel bar is super cool too, with a great selection of local beers and creative cocktails (highly recommend the Bee Sting—delicious!). We really enjoyed the whole experience and honestly can’t fault it.
