Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill

Recent guest reviews

I really liked the location of the property. I was visiting Washington, D.C., for the first time, and the Hyatt was an ideal place for me to stay, as it was within walking distance from many of the attractions that I wanted to see.

The nearness to Union train stayition. The staff was friendly and helpful

The staff were SOOOOO nice and helpful. They worked with us on holding our bags and even an early check-in due to our flight plans. Couldn't ask for better service! My only negative for this facility is that the pool is in a very loud mechanical area and there is no hot tub. A good soak would of been great after long days of walking. This place is also close to some good food choices. I actually would stay again. Final note is that the room is not the best for plug-ins and mirrors if you are 2 females trying to get ready.

Service, friendly staff, concierge very helpful. Restaurant service poor

Overall property is very old, not renovated No towels at swimming pool. We called the desk 3 times for towels but didn't get towels so we had to bring them from room.

Clean rooms very nice hotel my reservation said hi floor with view we stay at the 5 floor should be hire floor

Close to mall. Text for car valet was not working.

Location was good. Nothing was really unique. The room was noisy. It seemed if anyone was taking shower next to us or above us it sounded like our shower was on. We got a lot of noise through the walls from neighboring guests and outside.

Wife needed handicapped bathroom and we were fortunate to get one. My opinion of room was great but I would have liked to have a room with more space. 2 adults, 2 grand kids we had 2 needed beds which was all fine. Restaurants: Breakfast buffets and service was great, Dinner menu was good.

Older property Rooms/bathroom not updated Thin blankets not warm Temperature controls off

The shower was clogged, there was no clean towels we had to wait an hour to get them. We were disappointed at room cleanliness

Restaurant good. Room clean and you can adjust temperature easily. Mattresses sagged and need to be flipped.

Check-in was awful. Required an additional $150/night upfront and was very unhelpful with our circumstance trying to check in at 2am. Will not ever recommend this hotel.

The staff was knowledgeable and polite. My check in and check out took less than 10 mins.

No complaints, would stay again tomorrow! Room was clean, only negative was we had to go to the hotel across the street to ise their vending machine bc they dibt have one

Everything went quite well. The staff was very nice and the restaurant also very nice.

They charge me lot of money for parking, very unprofessional

trolley system right out the front door....very handy. restaurant had very good food but the bar area service was poor. took awhile for the hot water for the shower to get to the 7th floor in the morning.
