If you are walking to all the National Mall sites, this hotel is one of the best.

We are about location, location, and location. We needed an inexpensive, clean, and quiet hotel located walking distance from all the major things we wanted to see in DC, and that is exactly what we got with this hotel.

Rooms were ready upon arrival... Service was Great, Just one error room service was not done one day, called housekeeping, spoke to manager , I was giving apologies and should be getting a complementary wine bottle and cheese, which never arrived..... Not proper customer service

Check in was smooth and easy. Bar staff attentive and food good. Only complaint would be the front doormen just stood there and talked while we got our 4 pieces of luggage out of the taxi and into the hotel.

Great location, all of the staff were friendly. The bartender, Les was delightful, we very much enjoyed our conversation with him. Top notch service from him. Our room was clean but the sheets needed to be put on when I pulled the top cover back, they had not been tucked into the mattress. We would stay again and recommend.

The room did not get a 5th star simply because the area behind the sink was filled with dust. Everything else at the hotel was great.

Good place to stay, pool was cold but Ok, many places to see around there, staff very helpful

Stayed at the Hyatt over a weekend. The Breakfast Buffet was superb. Staff were all both knowledgeable pleasant and helpful. The lobby is in the basement so getting in with lots of luggage (two pieces) was a little confusing. Hotel was in walking distance of the National Mall with all the museums and also the Capitol.

We stayed here for four nights while we visited DC. It was only about 3 blocks from Union Station so we didn’t have far to the metro and also to many restaurants! I would recommend this to anyone visiting! It was a good price for a nice hotel. Another thing we loved is the ice cold water they had at the desk!

The staff was professional and very helpful. The location was perfect, close to the museum's and within walking distance to nice restaurants.

nice. I enjoyed it except for the parking fee of $59 per night, and little on street parking.

Overall, it was good. Good location. Good Breakfast. Starbucks.

Nice. I expected nicer but it was okay. It is close to Union Station. Breakfast was good.

Hotel is clean and convenient although the main lobby smells stale and funky. The bed I slept was worn out and saggy. House keeping did not re-stock the in room coffee on our last night. We were disappointed when we woke up and couldn't make coffee in the room.

This hotel is great because it is walking distance of the capital and to the museums. Staff is really friendly very helpful. Breakfast and dining Very good but very expensive. Also hotel is five minutes walking distance from union station.

Nice hotel close to everything and staff is wonderful especially the conceirge.

Located within walking distance to the capital building witch made it nice to see all of the national mall. Also nice was the Starbucks that was right across the street. Breakfast was offered in the lobby was nice and convenient to get the day started. Staff was nice and always has a smile as we walked by.

Very nice hotel....Very clean... However, be very careful when the waiter/waitress offers you coffee and orange juice at the same time at breakfast. It is $4:00 for a cup of coffee and $4.50 for a glass of OJ. She/he will offer you both at the same time making you think that the OJ is complimentary. This is a trick to get more money out of you. The breakfast buffet is $25.00...Ouch! Regular breakfast is $17.00...Ouch! Parking a car at the hotel for 2 hours is $43.00...Ouch!

Wonderful place to stay. Close to the capitol and the mall. Metro stop two blocks from hotel. Several nice places to eat around the hotel.

When I got there my father used my restroom after checked in and told us later that he found a bug on him in the bathroom. Because I didn't see the bug, I didn't know if it came from outside or was a bed bug. I called the hotel and asked them if they could send someone up to check the room. No one called back so I spent my afternoon sight seeing worrying that there were possibly bed bugs in my room. my husband had to go back to the room to grab something and while he was there he did a full sweep of the room and didn't find anything. Later that night I found a note from housekeeping saying they checked the room and didn't find anything. I don't know if they came before or after my husband checked the room. If they had just called back then he wouldn't have wasted his time. With a concern like that I was disappointed that they didn't take the time to just make a quick call. Other observations: you can't see the capital from the hotel like the pictures lead you to believe and the hotel is a little outdated and there's no fridge in the room. Otherwise it was fine. The concierge was nice but the valet and front desk people were not friendly.
