Hotel was wonderful!! The staff made us feel at home. The restaurants were delicious. Best location! Even a pool for the kiddos! We will definitely be back.

I travel quite regularly and I was surprised to have to pay for WiFi. For an upscale hotel this was surprising. We dined in the restaurant and was disappointed with the quality of the food. We would not eat there again. The TV was not working and we had to call to get it repaired.

Night shift supervisor was unable to keep neighboring guests from disturbing others well interesting the early morning hours. Building next door is being torn down. Wrecking balls and jack-hammers come free off charge...

We had a very nice stay at this J W Marriott. The location and the neighborhood are terrific. You're a short walk from the White House, the Metro, the American History Museum. It's not too much farther to other museums and monuments. The room was quiet and had nice design touches, and the staff was always helpful.

Nice clean hotel in the heart of DC. More families at this location then any other JW Marriott, so a little noisier than the others. Hotel only serves prepackaged room service so meal pre planing was required because most reasturants in the area had long waits between 6:30 - 8:30 PM. Walking distance to the National Mall, White House, and Metro Stations. If in DC again I would stay here again.

Excellent location. Only complaint was service at the restaurant and the bed and pillows were not comfortable.

For what we paid, do not really feel we got our money's worth. Absurd parking rates. $50 a night, I found a place on 11th, 3 blocks over for $13. Found someone's dirty sock in our room, that was a bonus. I guess you pay for the location. If I was to do it all over again, I'd stay further away at a hotel with indoor/outdoor pool. The money saved would more than pay for uber or the metro. IMHO

Walking distance from most of the monuments. The hotel staff were all pleasant and helpful. We defiantly plan to stay here again!

Very good location, nice hotel with good service. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna.

Great location, very nice hotel, excellent value. Having to pay for WiFi is the only downside but not unusual at better hotels (ironically enough).

Very much a good choice if you want to see the sites.

Great location- between White House and capital . Across from shuttle hop on hop off.

The location was right in the center of everything, and the staff treated us like royalty.

Location was awesome!! Can't say enough good about facilities and personel, all top rate. But when it comes to food selection in the resturant and room service, definately lacking. Resturant had 1 page of food selection available. 3 cuts of meat, 3 or 4 salads. I had a 12 oz steak, ceaser salad and fries. My daughter had raveolas. Bill was $100.00 A bid much I think. Room service prices were high, but when you add on a 22 service fee AND a $5.00 mandatory tip they became unforgettable.

My husband and I had an opportunity to go away for the weekend and see the sites in DC and the JW Marriott was the perfect location for our hotel. We walked everywhere and loved it. Great restaurants and even pizza restaurant within a 5 block circumference. Loved the remodeling and color scheme. The comfort of the bed was amazing and the view of the monument was exciting. We would definitely stay there again.

This was the smoothest trip I've ever taken. I brought my 7 year old granddaughter to DC for her birthday. Check in was quick and easy and they made an effort to give special attention to Mikayla, advising us of all the activities for children. We're going back this year for her birthday, I'm sure it will be a great stay.

Good Experience overall. value for money is all about location. One issue is was promised a king sized bed or two queen - instead got two full size.

The city always seems like a ghost town this time of the year. Museums are busy, but not much else. A good time for a visit if you don't like crowds. Got a great deal on the hotel stay.

Excellent choice for our family of four to experience Washington in style, yet reasonably priced. We were able to walk to White House, all monuments, and museums. Great to see White House at night. Safe area. Many restaurants within walking distance. Overnight parking a little expensive but in the city. Room was clean, comfortable and staff was courteous and attentive. We will be back!

The best place to be in the center of it all. Fantastic hotel and staff!!!
