The property is outdated, wallpaper falling in rooms, small rooms, slow check in, just ok restaurant and very, very slow elevators. Locstion is good and I liked the water station downstairs.

The property was super nice and quiet. The room was comfortable and had all standard amenities. Beds were comfy. The room had blackout curtains which was great too. The hotel location is another of its strengths too. Short walkable distance from the National Mall, a bunch of public transportation options nearby (including the rail train/metro), and many decent and affordable food options. All the hotel personnel were super helpful and friendly. We'll definitely make this hotel our first option next time we're in DC!

Great Hotel for First DC Trip
Enjoyed our stay at The Hamilton. Centrally located to all the sights of DC. Cordial staff and very helpful. The Via Sophia which is an attached restaurant at the lobby provided great food, and drinks and cool bartenders. Shout out to Aaron and Julio!
