The bottom of the shower was orange around the edges and they don’t give you conditioner for your hair just a bottle of shampoo, but besides that it was a nice quick stay.

Location is perfect for seeing the sites. A very short walk to National Mall, close the to Metro station and Bike Share rentals. McDonalds on same block. Rooms are clean and comfy.

Muy buen hotel y sobre todo muy centrico del national mall

There were a few disappointments which were due to the pandemic such as the pool being closed, a staff shortage resulting in rooms not being serviced as frequently as they should be, a partial closure of the restaurant and the lack of bar service. I think that the hotel could have done a little more to resolve these issues. However, I did enjoy the spacious and very updated room which was exceptionally clean. And this hotel is in a great location and very close to the subway. I especially liked the Starbucks located right within the hotel.

Great Location

great location to national mall 5 minute walk max parking is a bit expensive but I think it is half price across the street .all around cleanliness was good unfortunately I think people in general are just lazy and dirty I think a lot of places are doing their best to clean up after these sort of people while being short staffed due to covid and the same type of people not wanting to go to work and living on stimulus money .stayed at multiple hotels on this 2 week vacation to DC and New York and watched people dump French fries in the hall at one location and throw their wrappers on the floor in the elevator at another .I feel sorry for the effort these hotels have to go to to keep them clean for us .people are becoming a disappointment .al iI keep hearing is how were making progress if the things I witnessed at a few of the hotels I stayed at on this trip is progress I could do without it .that being said I would stay here again nice location and friendly staff

Friendly and accommodating staff, great room service, cleanliness throughout the hotel and beds were very comfortable.

Basic hotel. Dated furniture and worn out carpet. Amenities in room sparse. Just basic so good if just planning to sleep

No restaurant open, no breakfast, no coffee bar in the morning. Pool was closed. Lobby, loud and crowded most of the time. Snack bar not stocked, no hot water for cup o noodles, picked over, waited in line 10 minutes to buy a water. Unacceptable. Elevators not working properly. Parking garage dirty and smelled like sewer. AC stopped working in our room. No exhaust fans in bathroom, very musty and wet after showering. Bed was too firm.

Pool was closed. AC did not work but was repaired, both televisions never worked. Staff was kind but we would not stay here again.

No

Everything was fabulous, with the exception of paid PARKING. We unknowingly did not follow protocol for the three days of parking that we paid for, and in the end we’re charged an additional $85. I went to the hotel desk to explain what had happened…that we paid for 3 days of parking and yet we were being charged at the exit of the garage…that we were not clear on what we had to do as guests of the hotel, and could they help us fix this. The rep. said to me, “With all due respect, there’s a sign at the garage.” She went on to say that it would be unfair for ME to blame the rep. that checked us in. I reminded her that it would be unfair to take anyone’s side, but the guest in this matter. All I asked was for this to be fixed. I didn’t “blame” anyone. As a matter of fact, I told her I understood how we could’ve misunderstood, as I was checking us in and my husband was driving the vehicle. He was not with me in order to get any directions and treated it like any other parking garage (ie NYC). She made me feel that I was at her mercy. She wasn’t working with me. She wasn’t making any effort to try to make this better. Instead, she told me what was “unfair”. Ultimately, she refunded the extra we were charged at the exit of the garage, but she made it very clear that she was doing it out of the goodness of her heart…plus, I think she was worried that I’d say something about her diplomacy skills. Everything & everybody else was fantastic, but the finish will stick with us…😕

Pool was closed for the summer.

Excellent proximity to the mall and museums

Hotel could us some updating. They also need dehumidifiers in the rooms. We called for extra blanket and they were up quickly. Staff was ok. Mediocre review because hotel was mediocre at best. Decent location if visiting various Smithsonian museums.

Clean property. Parking was expensive but I guess that is typical for the area.

Parking on site

This hotel is only a block from the national mall at the Smithsonian section. There’s a Starbucks attached to the lobby and is a quick drive from the highway. The pool was supposed to be reopened at the end of June, but is still closed as of 7/5. The workout facility is top notch with a view of the Capitol dome. Parking is “next door”, but there’s an elevator that lets you off in the lobby…then across the hall to the room elevators. This is also a block from the L’Enfant metro station for easy transport around the city. Highly recommend.
