They allowed us to park and check in early and were very accommodating at the check in desk. Rooms are a little small and a bit worn, but are fine for a shorter stay. Many restaurants within walking distance.

This place was very nice and is situated near many shopping and dining areas.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The staff was super friendly and helpful, they even let us check-in early at no extra charge. The lobby is beautiful and has a fun, modern look to it. The room itself was perfect for my friends and I, and had a nice view of the public library outside. Very clean, which is literally the most important part for me. The sheets and pillowcases and towels were replaced every day, and felt so fresh and comfortable. Great location as well. Most destinations were walkable, but even if using Lyft/Uber rides were no more than $15. Awesome night life and lots of fun attractions and restaurants near by. Definitely planning on staying here again when I visit DC again.

Booked the Romance Package. Check-in was a breeze! My room was right at the elevators and the ice machine, which is perfect because I have mobility issues. The hotel was perfect and in a great location for the convention center, shopping, and restaurants. Across the street on 9th is the luxury shopping center. At the end of the block southbound is Cuba Libre (wonderful weekend brunch). And Northbound, right past the little park, is the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Perfect location! Clean venue and rooms! Beautiful view! On another note, it's easy to have food deliveries in the lobby! Staff was friendly, but a little untrained with the packages available. The Romance Package comes with sparkling wine or sparkling cider and a box of chocolate truffles. The check-in attendant gave us a bottle of Perrier and tried to explain away the box of chocolates. We called down the next morning and asked about the package and stated what we received. They immediately sent up a bottle of champagne and a box of chocolates with the DC logo and strawberries. Much better! The Renaissance is an overall pleasant and inclusive environment. It's comfortable and relaxing. I recommend this location to anyone staying in DC.

It was cool

good staff, nice rooms, and parking lot available in the same building.

Nice clean room A bit noisy. Too much light from under door for good sleep. I need dark to sleep

We enjoyed our stay and were very pleased with our room, services and the location of the hotel.

How friendly the staff was The water pressure in the shower was not strong

Great location but the hotel needs some work. However, for the price we payed it was great. I usually stays at the renaissance in São Paulo brazil and it is a 5 star hotel.

Great location, walking distance to some local pubs, coffee shops, etc. Pro staff.

No comment at this time. There were no major issues with the stay. Thanks for asking.

Very comfortable and elegant. The staff was friendly and efficient. The location was great.

Perfect location to access everything you need . Breakfast dining was annoyingly noisy but was not hotels fault. Construction work was being done by others below.

The staff were super nice and very pleasant. The rooms were clean and spacious. The parking garage was a bit of a walk but you expect that in a city. Overall, very pleased with my stay and an excellent value.

Location and access to many stores, food venues and services.
