The Henley Park Hotel

This hotel is historic without being old. It was filled with period pieces that created a nice ambiance. The staff was very pleasant. They always greeted you with a smile and was willing to help you with any request you had. The location is very convenient to most of the tourist spots. It was also close to a 24hr grocery store (which we enjoyed). I would definitely return if I visit D.C. again.

Great little hotel located close to many of Washingtons attractions. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room we had was comfortable, but wish they would put a second chair in the room so you do not have to sit on the bed. If any complaint at all it would be that they need to wash the windows. Overall I would stay there again. If you like small quaint hotels this is the place for you.

Front desk staff very helpful. Food and drinks in bar convenient and well prepared. Elevator slow but this allowed time to check on texts. Easy access to major conference hotels but at huge savings. The room was very quite and curtains blocked out light for late sleeping which was a real plus.

The Henley Park is right near the convention center with basic features and very pleasant staff.

It's really nice area . We found a couple nice coffe shops. It's 25 minutes walk to museums. Our room was clean and neat.

The hotel staff are truly top notch. Thats the first impression. I had one dinner and one breakfast at the hotel and both were very good. The service amazing and a very intimate and charming dining room. This hotel is older and needs some updating in very specific areas like the bathroom vanity and sink. Carpets need to be replaced in some areas and some tile in the lobby and elsewhere would be helpful in brightening the place up. The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. Overall I would stay here again for the charm of an old hotel. If new and techy is your thing then one of the chains is for you. I stay at Chain hotels all the time and they are very nice and predictable. This was a nice change. I would stay here again when in Washington

Upon arrival, the hotel looks lovely and check in was smooth and quick. Then it went down from there. It was so hot in our room and it clearly states the hotel has air conditioning. But when we went downstairs to complain the lady said they do NOT have airconditioning! In addition, the outlets in the bathroom didn't work, the toilet kept running and the knob to shower came off in my husband's hand. They sent maintenence up to fix issues but lady at desk was not apologetic in the least. We then sat in the bar for several minutes around 6pm on a Saturday and no one came over to take our order or acknowledge us. We left and found another bar who was happy to have us. The next am we took cold showers because we couldn't adjust water temperature. Upon checking out, I asked for the GM's email and was given a card for the manager on duty. I sent him an email 5 days ago but have yet to get a response. We would never stay here again, ever!

Stayed during incoming celebrations for Trump. Was a great choice!

good location in nice part of the city. however, bit of a walk down to the monuments and museums. not many blocks, just long. we went in august. a mistake, way too hot. i should have known better as i am relatively local at 2.5-3 hrs away. but the hotel - very nice - very charming. i'm partial to older buildings with charm and this one does have it. there's a really nice cafe next door also where you can get breakfast/lunch.

Possibly the best hotel I've ever stayed in. They allowed us to check in early once a room was available and it was so clean! It was a beautiful and historic building but everything was fresh and tidy. Staff was helpful and brought ice to our room in minutes. The bed was comfortable, there were ample electrical plugs - the room was not huge but still very well thought out for comfort and practicality. The location was very nice and close to where we needed to be. I wish I could live in this hotel! I strongly recommend it, and as a member of the hospitality industry I'm usually quite picky but I can't even think of 1 possible complaint. An excellent and impressive place.

good hotel ,lovely staf and good room . close to resturant area ,and also close for all places u must visit

Nice hotel with a vintage feel. Check in was quick and easy. Easy walking distance to good food and not to far too walk to the touristy sites.

very nice stuff and friendly environment. Convenient location to many attractions

Room was super hot in December, A/C was so loud. Ended up opening windows on second night just for peace and quiet...road noise, sirens, etc. were better than the fan. Coffee maker not so good. Bar closed earlier than you'd expect for DC. Bed was moderately comfortable, but the room temp issue overruled that.

My girlfriend and I spent a night here between two days of long distance driving. The room was fine, the bed was huge and did the job we needed it too, and the hotel was very close to the national mall giving us the opportunity to self tour the monuments late at night. The hotel is old and pretty, but I thought it was quite expensive for what it was. After all I did get a good night's sleep though.

The Henley is a nice old hotel. The stay was nice and comfortable. Always check your bill when checking out. Added charges such as the restaurant bill was added when we never ate there. They are reversing it. always check.

Quiet room!!! I was assigned right next to elevator and worried noise from hall and machine would be problem. Not the case! Much quieter than these newly built hotels. Elegant surroundings. Bell service and breakfast restaurant staff should be more present and helpful is my only suggestion.

Definitely met my expectations! Great hotel! Definitely would recommend it!

Hotel was cozy, clean and comfortable. Wife and I truly enjoyed our stay after long days of exploring DC.

Clean. Old-fashioned--you get a newspaper each day, and your toiletries are replaced daily as well as new linens. I'd prefer something less wasteful and know to request otherwise if I visit again. Umbrellas in the room were a nice touch (and needed on my trip). Blackout curtains or shades were my only options. Had to keep them closed because the room overlooks an air shaft and looks into the rooms across the shaft. I wish there were sheers or a way to let in natural light while I sat and worked. It disrupted my sleep schedule too, since my room never got light in the morning. Location was great for my conference and for Metro access. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Free wifi was excellent!
