In walking distance to the mall and adjacent tourist destinations, the hotel is a good choice as base camp. Overall it is a bit aged, clearly visible in the bathrooms featuring broken shower heads, wallpaper peeling off etc. While a breakfast was included in our rate, space is wholly inadequate to sit down and enjoy your start into the day. They offer a garage, the charge is outrageous, on top of a hefty room rate. Would we choose it again? - maybe.

Very basic hotel. The lobby was quite small and the it was hard to find somewhere to sit during breakfast. The breakfast staff was EXCELLENT. They were accommodating and probably the best part. Rooms were ok with a pretty low budget feel. Overall the experience was ok only made better by the staff. If you’re hoping for a Hyatt or Marriott feel this is not the place.

Great location to everything DC has to offer. Felt very safe in this location. Easy to get cabs amd UBER. Great breakfast. And the staff was super friendly. Enjoyed the cookies when I checked in :)

The staff members were very polite and attentive. The indoor pool was great. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious!

Near all attractons. Breakfast was great and the staff was outstanding. Will stay again.

Staff is great and rooms are clean. The hotel just needs updating.

the accommodation was very clean the breakfast everything is amaizing

Nice but other guess and city noises could be loud. Breakfast was really good

PROS - free breakfast (until 10:00am), free coffee/tee all day, and located near Metro station. CONS - Elevator takes forever to show up. Hot water was unavailable on two mornings around 9:00 am during my stay. That is unacceptable period.

We spent three nights there and liked it . I surely recommend this hotel to stay at.

We spend 4 nights in DC at Hampton Inn. Good location, walking distance, however we used Uber because was very cold. Nice staff, specially the ladies from the kitchen. Good breakfast, those days very crowded, I believe the hotel was full capacity. Overall I like it. Will stay there again.

Great breakfast and location. I would definitely stay here again

Everything was very good, the room is clean, the breakfast is very good (kids really like the waffles), the staff is very helpfull.

Walking distance to all the museums. Defiantly stay there again. Hotel is downtown.

It was a wonderful experience. We only had five days to see as much as we could in Washington DC. We would get up early, have breakfast, get ready, and go out for the whole day. The breakfast at the hotel, from 6:00AM to 10:00AM was very good, and a great deal. The coffee and tea was available all day long. The staff was very friendly and courteous. My family and I had a great time. We would definitely go back.

Good place to stay with the family, clean hotel and a very safe area.

The check-in was horrible I had to wait about 20 minutes before I was actually given keys to the room then was told about the valet parking fee...!! So I get there and they can't find my reservation that I made over 2 weeks prior and I had to wait about 15 minutes while the guy was in the back looking for my reservation. Then he comes out he has found it but it was for the wrong booking type. I asked for 2 beds and a rollaway bed I got a king bed with a sofa. it worked out to be fine. Then I was hit with the valet parking fee $$ per night that was an unexpected fee in our budget but we had no choice because of the cancellation fee. On the positive side the staff, breakfast & room were perfect!!

Definitely recommend this hotel. Staff was great and very helpful. Located in a great spot. Near Verizon Center, Convention Center, Madame Tussauds, The National Portrait Museum. Easy walk to all other main attractions. Lots of restaurants.

Very nice hotel. We stay 3 days 2 nights, 2 rooms for 7 people. We had a nice time, hotel very clean, people in front desk very friendly. All the facilities nice and clean, pool and jacuzzi very nice, kids enjoyed a lot. Free buffet breakfast awesome, you have a lot of choices, and you have plenty room to sit. You have a coffee and tea section 24hrs, so is very nice. Hotel is close to museums ,capitol,Lincoln memorial, white house, but if you are a person who loves to walk, we did it and it was a nice slow walk ( 9.30am to 4pm), that day was nice and sunny. Before to come back to hotel, we had lunch in china town and it was great. When we arrived that day at 4pm, in front desk, they put a delicious tray with warm chocolate chips and oatmeal cookies, with hot cedar apple to drink, so it is nice to have a sweet snack after you spend all day out. I highly recommend this hotel, only thing I don't like, is that you have to pay $50 for valley parking, it should be include it or cheaper . Don't forget to visit the free zoo, we had a great time there.

Staff was excellent, friendly, and helpful! Location was good and within walking distance of the major tourist attractions.
