Walking distance to all the museums. Defiantly stay there again. Hotel is downtown.

It was a wonderful experience. We only had five days to see as much as we could in Washington DC. We would get up early, have breakfast, get ready, and go out for the whole day. The breakfast at the hotel, from 6:00AM to 10:00AM was very good, and a great deal. The coffee and tea was available all day long. The staff was very friendly and courteous. My family and I had a great time. We would definitely go back.

Good place to stay with the family, clean hotel and a very safe area.

The check-in was horrible I had to wait about 20 minutes before I was actually given keys to the room then was told about the valet parking fee...!! So I get there and they can't find my reservation that I made over 2 weeks prior and I had to wait about 15 minutes while the guy was in the back looking for my reservation. Then he comes out he has found it but it was for the wrong booking type. I asked for 2 beds and a rollaway bed I got a king bed with a sofa. it worked out to be fine. Then I was hit with the valet parking fee $$ per night that was an unexpected fee in our budget but we had no choice because of the cancellation fee. On the positive side the staff, breakfast & room were perfect!!

Definitely recommend this hotel. Staff was great and very helpful. Located in a great spot. Near Verizon Center, Convention Center, Madame Tussauds, The National Portrait Museum. Easy walk to all other main attractions. Lots of restaurants.

Very nice hotel. We stay 3 days 2 nights, 2 rooms for 7 people. We had a nice time, hotel very clean, people in front desk very friendly. All the facilities nice and clean, pool and jacuzzi very nice, kids enjoyed a lot. Free buffet breakfast awesome, you have a lot of choices, and you have plenty room to sit. You have a coffee and tea section 24hrs, so is very nice. Hotel is close to museums ,capitol,Lincoln memorial, white house, but if you are a person who loves to walk, we did it and it was a nice slow walk ( 9.30am to 4pm), that day was nice and sunny. Before to come back to hotel, we had lunch in china town and it was great. When we arrived that day at 4pm, in front desk, they put a delicious tray with warm chocolate chips and oatmeal cookies, with hot cedar apple to drink, so it is nice to have a sweet snack after you spend all day out. I highly recommend this hotel, only thing I don't like, is that you have to pay $50 for valley parking, it should be include it or cheaper . Don't forget to visit the free zoo, we had a great time there.

Staff was excellent, friendly, and helpful! Location was good and within walking distance of the major tourist attractions.

The room was nice and appeared to be clean however the fridge wasn't working in our room.

Conveniently located near Chinatown and the Convention Center. Hotel staff were friendly and room was comfortable with fast, easy wifi. Free hot breakfast was a nice perk.

Great place to stay while seeing a Caps Game! Very pleasant staff and a very good breakfast!

Stayed here two nights for a business trip. Good location and can access downtown and mall locations easily by walking. Room was clean and well equipped. Lobby was nice and complementary breakfast was the usual fare, but worked out just fine.

Would be nice a have a cafe in hotel. No view from room.

Everything was ok. I was satisfied with everything.

After a long week of work, it was nice to get some peace, having a stress free weekend. The hotel was clean and neat and they are friendly. I really didn't mind being on the 5th floor, the outside noise. I'm only mentioning that because reviews said it would be noisy staying on a lower floor but I still had a great time. The free breakfast was a plus as well. I will be staying here again!!!

We were very pleased with our stay. Convenient location near Chinatown and within walking distance of the Mall. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious - it gets very crowded, but you can take your food back to the room. Dropping off our car for valet parking was a breeze - waiting 20 minutes to pick it up on Sunday morning, not so much. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we also enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi.

No room service??? They had a bar/restaurant that was only open until 11 or something like that.

The hotel staff were all kind and extremely helpful. They added to our experience.

I usually stay hampton inn whenever i travel every diffrent city but this hamton inn was ok not the best one that i stayed before.

great stay if you want to avoid the high-priced conference hotels. there was construction right across (November 2014) but it didn't bother me since my room was out back.
