The restrooms didn’t have a fan and felt super muggy. The rooms we saw online were different than what we got and the carpet looked dirty. Room service was fast and on time. Appreciated the accommodation to get our unit earlier than the check in time.

The Royal Sonesta was conveniently located to DuPont Circle and within walking distance to the Metro. Our large double queen deluxe room was roomy and kept clean on a daily basis. There was a small refrigerator but no microwave. When asked if one was available to use for guests, one was delivered to our room. The safe in our closet did not work, and various ice machines in the building were not working. All the staff we encountered was friendly and helpful and was quick to provide everything we asked for. There was a Kuerig machine in our room. I did not notice any coffee, cookies, or fruit in the lobby—only dog treats. Even though there are updates that probably are needed, we felt our stay was very comfortable and the cost affordable. We would stay at this property again.

Great room. The hotel is pretty big and with so many rooms there was quite some noise, including at night (doors, street cars and people, etc) Excellent location!
